I was browsing around and saw that Boris Vallejo and Julie Bell have released a new compilation called Boris Vallejo and Julie Bell: The Ultimate Collection. There
are sure to be many buff barbarians and sci-fi babes within, and the
fact that Julie Bell is herself a weightlifting lady is just the icing
on the cake.
I really love their work,
and of course Boris has been painting muscular women since female
bodybuilding's earliest days. He was an early salesman of the
idea of muscular women. A lot of the couple's work turns up on
fantasy and sci-fi book covers, as well as the occasional
movie poster. They have a great commercial art business, and it's
just a bonus for us that so much of the output concerns strong
ladies.
I was aware of
Alina Popa from reading Freya.fr, but I didn't realize she had her own site until today.
Popa is a 27-year-old bodybuilder living in Bucharest, Romania.
Her stats page lists her as 5'6", 193 pounds, with 17" upper
arms. Normally when I read a female bodybuilder claiming arms
that big, I figure she's exaggerating. In this case, though, it's
probably accurate - she's a brick house. In photos and videos
Popa conveys a girlish quality that seems a bit at odds with the piles
of muscle she's carrying, but that's probably why she's so
appealing.

Everybody over at HB is going on about Waugaman's transformation as featured at Mike Davies' site.
I don't want to take anything away from Mike Davies - the world would
be a better place if it contained 1000 Mike Davies and if any genetics
labs are looking for people to test-clone, I nominate him. I also
don't want to subtract from Waugaman's efforts in the gym in the last
few years, because she has made a lot of progress. But the truth
is she was pretty freakin' hot to start with. {mosgoogle}
