For fans of 80s cartoons and enemies of weepy 90s techno, this is must-see. It's work-safe but you'll need to leave the volume on, so wear headphones if you got 'em.
Dan Slott's relaunched She-Hulk is back on comics stands
today. The comic features Juan Bobillo on art, which some fans
are happy about, others not so much. The opening storyline takes
up a few months following the end of the last series' run, which
conveniently enough was actually a few months ago.
It's OK. I'm not going to rave about it, but it's OK and I'm glad
to see her back. Slott has clearly made some decisions about who
the fan base should be, and it ain't us.
I was really annoyed with the Marvel website, by the way. It's
always been awful but today was worse than ever. It took me five
minutes to find the She-Hulk #1 page, though right up front I was
notified that there's a new Marvel movie opening up on July 28th!
The Fantastic Four!
Attention Marvel: fire whoever runs your website, the whole team if
it's a team. Hire me, just me, and I'll do it all by myself and
you'll never have a problem with people being able to find what they're
looking for, ever again. It will be easy as pumpkin pie.
I haven't been able to find any good photos of her online, but yoga
instructor and martial artist Jo Tastula appears on the cover of this
month's Yoga Journal.
She is all that and a bag of chips. Just a striking woman with a
knockout body. She's not the soft, scrawny androgynous type (male
or female) typical of yoga practicioners.
