From Editor and Publisher regarding former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright:
In an interview in the The New York Times Magazine that will appear this coming Sunday, Madeleine Albright reveals, among other things, that even at 68, she works out three times a week "and I can leg-press up to 400 pounds." This follows a discussion of how she does not expect to re-marry, partly because, as she says, "I'm intimidating, don't you think?"
With the rare MILF exeption of babes like Vicky Nixon, be it age, appearence, over abundance of bodyfat, whatever, I just dont care to know about it unless the subject is aesthetically pleasing... or at least not displeasing.
Heck, an obese woman weighing 400+ lbs just by virtue of standing from a seated position has just accomplished the same feat of strength, one which likely by necessity must be performed regularly, though likely at great strain and with limited mobility... not that there are many "mobil" hefting 400+ lbs. (And I assure you I am far more intimidated by the prospect of being crushed under the stored deposits of 1 too many Krispy Kreme Donuts than I am at arguing with Madeleine Albright.)
Further, there is a difference between being posessed of an "amazonian spirit" and just being toughminded or simply being an unsavory person aka bitch. And that is a matter seperate from the amount of developed muscle, or physical strength one posesses.
I no more want to hear what Madeleine Albright can leg press than I would want to hear about the courageous yet anonymous woman who carried around 303 lbs every day in the form of an ovarian tumor until having it surgically removed... incidentally this is where I should get all star eyed and wax on about how heroic she must be and how strong of spirit to have undergone such an ordeal and how physically strong to lug that weight about even though likely confined to a bed and wheelchair in reality... shhhhh this is fantasy land, she was doing backflips... and sure I'm being an ass writing this, I'm sarcastic sometimes... her ordeal was great... so are countless others, thats life, sometimes it blows and presents terrible challenges...
But much like that tumor that you did not want to hear about, same goes for the Madeleine Albright post. Are they comparable? In that you dont want a mental picture, you bet!
Ok, thats my first rant in a good long time. If you di...
