I got the latest Ironmind catalog in the mail today. I love Ironmind - it's put out by people with more of a traditional approach to weight lifting, divorced from a lot of the unfortunate elements introduced by the Weiders and others. Some of Ironmind's products are available through Amazon.com, all can be found on the Ironmind web site.
Some years ago I tore a muscle in my left hand while assembling Ikea furniture. I tried to hold too many shelf pieces in one hand and hyperextended the thumb. It took several years for me to get the strength back in the hand, but I made great progress with the Ironmind Captains of Crush gripper. I used the trainer gripper.
Now I'm curious: what are the unfortunate elements intro'ed by the Weiders?

martygallagher.com? Marty is an old school powerlifting coach who occasionally writes for MILO and the like. And it looks like one of the female lifters there has found one of your poser art pieces and taken it as her avatar. (That's a good thing, right?)
