It was reported on a Court TV segment yesterday that the authorities finally apprehended the pair in Massachusetts. For those so interested, the longest thread I've found on this subject is being discussed over on the Muscle Mayhem forums.

I can understand violence. I've done some violent things in my time, most of which I regret but there it is.

From what I've read, someone in the Titus family strangled the girl. That's bad. It's murder. However, sometimes people kill others in the heat of the moment only to be devastated by guilt later.

That isn't what happened here. These two murdered her, then mutilated her corpse, and then maligned her character to the police after the charred remains were found, accusing her of having stolen their car. How can someone sustain such a level of viciousness over a period of time like that? And how could people like that pass for normal? It's appalling.

Sound unlikely but dont discharge it out of simpaty for those who doesnt use them or remain peaceful no matter what.
That said I migth add that bodybuilding doesnt cures violence or stupidity. Education does. So if your a fool and bodybuild you're a bodybuilder fool.
Ok. Now lets remember which band has most of the people in it:
* overcompensation of sociopathic undermined selfsteem.
* Healt, beauty and good sporting.
I guess the second wins.

I'm new to this site and was just looking for some latest news on this tragedy.
I think that it's important to not jump to conclusions, even though it looks bad for Kelly and Craig - I met Kelly at a competition last spring and she was very generous and sweet to me and those around her. I think I am most puzzled at why a seemingly sweet young lady like her would stay in a relationship with someone with a reputation like Craig - but women do this all the time with disasterous results.
Personally, I don't think Kelly had anything to do with it.
Guess we will find out in the coming weeks.
I don't know about anyone else, but I am praying over the whole situation. I think everyone involved needs God's wisdom, mercy, and comfort.

I dunno, fitchik2328 , the whole "frailty of a woman" argument kinda goes out the window when you're talking about someone who can probably bench press her own bodyweight for reps. (I'm sure she'll climb quickly to the top of the inmate hierarchy.)

I've been in a relationship with a woman who sometimes turned abusive, but I drew a line. On occasion she stepped over that line, and I'd tell her what she'd done, walk away and give her a couple days to think about it. Eventually she stopped crossing it. Part of being in a long-term relationship is helping your partner overcome their bad shit, and that means letting them know what's off-limits.

Assuming Craig killed the girl, Kelly should not have aided him in disposing of her remains. Things like this rarely come out of left field. Sometimes people "snap", but more often they build up to a crime like this with a lot of smaller things, first.

did they ever pull up the carpet in their home to find body fluid stains? This would tell exactly where Melissa died...or were investigators that thorough?
