Attention all speakers of the English language: from now on, the
word "actress" will be used sparingly, to describe only women who both
act and make a living acting. I was watching a clip show last
night on Bravo, and one of the women on the show was billed as "Rachael
Robbins - Actress." Actress? I don't think so. Now obviously we don't want to be putting "Curvy Little Piece of Ass" in the chyron, but there's another euphemism we can use that fits nicely in between: "Entertainer". Don't make me tell you again.
