A recent commission I got from Jean Sinclair.

This is Battle Mistress Io, Princess of Tesenain. A character from an RPG campaign I ran back... I think it was in 1994 / 1995 ?

The player who ran Io is the same woman who plays Olga "ReisigeFrau" Svensen in my current superhero RPG. And I figured I could surprise her with a pic of a different RPG character than usual, with a little blast from the past.

For any of my fellow geeks / nerds out there, Io was from a fantasy campaign using the Hero System. She was a 250 point character at start of campaign (Epic Fantasy levels). She's a practitioner of the College of War Magics from Fantasy Hero Companion II. Her STR stat was an impressive 26 (where 8 is the normal human average, 10 is starting Player Character, and 20 is the limit before you start spending double points to increase the stat). I think Jean drew her with the right muscularity to represent the exceptional stat.

I rather like her outfit. The mass is just an added plus.

I dig the Lyra pinup, but it looks vaguely familiar to something I've seen somewhere... *Kanye shrug* Oh, well...
