DC has definitely been highlighting its powerful female characters in 52, the retrospective weekly looking at what happened between the end of Infinite Crisis and One Year Later. In this week's issue... [spoiler]
...A number of heroes return to Earth from space, but there's a teleporter accident. Hawkgirl emerges from the beam standing about 40 feet tall and built like an IFBB pro bodybuilder. I'm not kidding. And I have no problem with that. Previous issues have shown both Power Girl and Wonder Girl with muscles to go with their superhuman strength, which is a bit new for the latter character. Related Items:
