Robert Crumb's brief essay, "The Curse of the Fetish Obsession," is
published in Mineshaft Magazine #15, with several illustrations. Crumb
details how he came to be obsessed with amazonic women, and (quick sum
up) how it's a pain in the ass. I dig it, man.
And while you're at your local comics retailer picking up Mineshaft, you might also want to grab Strange Detective Tales #1,
"Dead Love," which I found to be quite enjoyable. It has nothing
to do with strong girls, but it's a novel fusion approach to several
old concepts. Plus there are zombies a-plenty, which is always
good for kicks.
