The inspiration for the Austin Powers films, 1965 cult hit Dr. Goldfoot and the Bikini Machine featured Vincent Price as the eponymous bad & mad scientist, plus an array of bikini babes as his super-strong, indestructible killbots. The bikini-clad death machines are sent out into America to steal the fortunes of wealthy single men - and heaven help the man who mixes up the "kiss switch" and the "kill switch"!
In the movie, Price is able to produce his amazonic love androids through the use of his "bikini machine". He also wears gold shoes throughout the film, and chases the protagonists through San Francisco on a runaway trolley. Busty ex-Mouseketeer Annette Funicello appears in a cameo as a prisoner in Goldfoot's dungeon. It sure is a wacky movie!
Dr. Goldfoot and the Bikini Machine is out on DVD and it's cheap.
Wonderfull goofy flick, but you failed to praise the magnificent Susan Hart as Diane. Or the sequel, Dr Goldfoot & The Girl Bombs.
Great Site! Thanks!

Indeed, great silly 60s garbage. If you like that, check out "Deadlier Than the Male", another spoofish spy flick with fit villain babes, including Britt Ekland (who our hero claims is "a bit too muscular" for his tastes).
