Ani Lozanova

Muscular Bulgarian pop star Ani Lozanova (Ани Лозанова) has two videos up on YouTube. One of them is amateur video taken by someone who doesn't understand the concept of zoom. The other is a professionally filmed music video for her song Tq e v men, a gripping ballad about how Bulgaria is so poor it can't even afford words with more than three letters, or vowels.

Her striking muscularity isn't terribly noticeable in either video, but can be seen in photos accompanying an interview in a Bulgarian zine called "Obektiv".

Lozanova competed to be Bulgaria's entry in the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest, but came it at 10th with 1.3% of the vote. Hopefully she (and we) will be luckier in 2007.

..we have pop singers like her in the UK? :cry: I might take a bit more interest in it if there were a few Lozanova-esque girls around.
