OK, first up we have a video of strongwoman Kara Mann from the Today show last year. Mann looks like an ordinary, everyday young woman (except cuter) but she's amazingly strong. She's made a name for herself in strongwoman competitions over the last three or four years, winning several events and also engaging in strength feats.
Also, somebody uploaded a video of Gladys Portugues' routine from what I think is the 1985 Ms. Olympia. Portugues is one of the most beautiful pro bodybuilders ever, and she's certainly easy on the eyes in this video. The amusing thing is that Portugues would be scarcely muscular or lean enough to compete in a contemporary IFBB figure competition, and would seem utterly out of place in a bodybuilding event. It's a real loss for us, because she looks amazing.
Excuse me, Mr Lingster sir, I think you'll find I posted that Kara Mann video to the forum a few weeks ago. :roll:
Mind you, it is a gem, so I'm not surprised you've posted it here. 8)

Don't worry; it's a great clip - this gives those who missed my post a second chance to see it. She comes across as so down-to-earth but quietly very intelligent (as one would expect from a Chemical Engineering student). The other thing I like about her is that her strength is what I'd call "stealth strength" in that she wouldn't obviously seem as incredibly strong as she is to the average person who doesn't know what they're looking at. Gives the possibility for "excuse me, Miss, can I help you with that?" moments and the resultant surprise when she proves that she is massively strong. :lol:

Oh, and if you want a comparison to show you just how mindblowingly strong Kara is, here are some Strong Man contestants making hard work of some tyres that, whilst they are bigger than the one Kara was flipping in the clip, aren't that much bigger.
