With her enormous muscle mass, Tina Lockwood took the bodybuilding world by storm in the early 1990s.
Those who are too young to have seen Tina Lockwood's photos and videos at the time might not truly appreciate how gigantically muscular she was.
When she was training, Tina Lockwood achieved a freakish level of muscular development.
People were astonished at the size of her.
I'm aware of two videos of Tina Lockwood that are still available from the producers:

Right, so again I've seen very little footage of her, so here goes:
1./ It seems so strange to hear such girlish voice emanating from such a huge woman.
2./ She seems to have been genetically-predisposed to being huge. Sadly, I'm not sure I find her physique especially attractive. She looks to have been slightly bulkier than I prefer. Having said that, I do find her physique awe-inspiring.
3./ Her voice seemed to radiate sadness and dissatisfaction in the video. :cry:

To me, she was by far the most genetically gifted female bodybuilder to ever walk the earth. No other bodybuilder has ever had legs as big as hers.
I could be wrong, but hearing her voice and seeing her face, gives me the impression that her condition was much more due to genetics then to steroids. You see no trace of the disgusting and ever-so-present face masculinization found in todays FBB's.

OMG, Tina Lockwood is massive. :shock: I've never seen such muscle on a woman before. She must be the biggest bodybuilder out there - and she's pretty cute too.8)At only 22 years old, and only 3 years into the sport that she calls "the beginning" I can't imagine what she looked like even another year on. The most stunning female bodybuilder I have ever seen.

Tina Lockwood was a phenomenon whose incredibly dense physique was all the more remarkable for it's girl-next-door beauty.
She was pursuing a law degree when a physical therapy for a back injury got her into lifting. She was also a swimmer in high school.
Would have been interesting if she had gotten into Body Building later on in life and not had her enthusiasm burnt out so early on.
Thanks for the heads up on one of my favorite sinew pageant participants.

Tina was a sweetheart. I remember meeting her several times. She had a realistic view of the world of FBBing and since she didn't see herself making money at it even as a pro left the sport. She had no desire to join the sessions crowd and the internet wasn't the force it is now.

So we were denied her showing the way for all other FBB pros because of lackof prize money? Damn Weiders! :twisted:

There's an issue of WPW (I don't have access to my collection at the moment, or I'd find and scan it) that features a teenage Tina on the "reader's photos" page. Even back then she was big.
I'll try and ferret it out and post it somewhere when I find it.
