The CW network is running the season premiere of "Smallville" on Thursday. The name of Laura Vandervoort's character is Kara and she's ostensibly Clark's cousin (i.e. Kara Zor-El in the comics), which would make her Supergirl. However in the clip we see her donning bracelets resembling those worn by Wonder Woman and Wonder Girl, who have less biological relationship to Clark than to a soybean. So what's going on? Somebody wanna 'splain it to me?
