Many have suspected that Regis Philbin digs buff chicks - his wife Joy has gone through periods of pronounced muscularity, and he has occasionally encouraged female guests to flex on his show.
However, in the current issue of Fitness Magazine, Kelly Ripa sorta confirms what we've always suspected:
A month or two after I started working out, I wore a sleeveless turtleneck to work. Regis was like, 'Pipa, your arm muscles look incredible!' it was the first time anybody had ever said anything to me about my muscles. And because I am a vain person, that's all I needed to hear to stay with it.
Awesome.
And an excellent reminder of why men should compliment those women in their lives showing signs of budding buffness.
Why the hell did the magazine see fit to photoshop away all her muscles leaving her looking like a twig? :roll: :evil: :evil: :?:

"Philbin" is a seven-letter word which reputedly means "penis" in Romany. Given that his first name is "Regis", this would make him "King of Penises".

Granted, he's not a favorite entertainer of mine. But, if he promotes "buffness" in the industry, that's more of what it needs. Yeah, and the cover sucks because the lack of muscularity has got to detract from Kelly's sound of eagerness.
