 I noticed that Amaz0ns received a few search engine hits yesterday from someone looking for Meral Ertunc info. Younger readers might not remember the lady from her first time around, but the rest of us will never forget her. When she hit the scene she was incredibly feminine and totally jacked at the same time. I can remember seeing some photos of her in Women's Physique World - I guess around 1989 or 1990 - and actually feeling light-headed. Meral Ertunc was a bombshell with muscles, a curvy little amazon who made everybody's jaw drop.So I was surprised when she reappeared last year as a figure competitor. She didn't do all that well in competitions but she looked pretty good to me. Juan Carlos Lopez has some galleries up (1, 2) at HardFitness, showing Ertunc on stage. Women's Physique World of course has numerous archival and more recent posed galleries, fairly reasonably priced.
