I cropped a photo of California bodybuilder Michelle Jin (by James Cook) to illustrate a point. Well, not so much a 'point' as an observation, which is "DAMN. Would you look at the drumsticks on this girl?"
I could look at Jin's legs all day long. The sweep from her little foot up through the bulging soleus and gastrocnemius is quite dramatic - on most people you can't even see the soleus, but Jin's legs are so well developed that the sucker pokes out below the medial head of the gastrocnemius. Are her calves perfect? Perfection is a tough standard to meet but I can safely give them very, very high honors.
Love her calves, but would like to see her quads bigger, as they look a little weedy next to those gastrocnemius (I am a biologist and I have a reason for being interested academically in the gastrocnemius.)
