Check out the site of
JulieAnn Kulla, an NPC figure competitor and fitness model. At first glance she seems like someone who'd be a shoo-in for the role of Wonder Woman in the perpetually-upcoming film, but tragically she's fairly petite: just 5'2". She's from Minnesota, which is surprising to me because I didn't think there were any adults under 5'6" in the whole state.
Kulla's got a great, clean, straightforward info and portfolio site, which she designed herself. So, height aside, maybe she really is Wonder Woman?
If she's too short, then how about figure competitor, Angela Stueber? She's 5'8".

The regular actors weren't that short, most of that was computer tricks.
