Nancy Fuentes is a 40-year-old mother of two who probably never gets tired of being mistaken for a 25-year-old. I believe the video above is the second PressPass TV feature profiling Nancy Fuentes, a New Jersey figure competitor who won the Jan Tana Classic in June. You can check out the earlier video here.
Fuentes says in the video that she's training to compete in the "North Atlantics" in Cleveland, but I think she misspoke and means the "North Americans".
Actually from the phrasing I don't think so. She seems to be referring to a competition called the North Atlantics -- possibly for the regions bordering the northern part of the Atlantic? If it were really such a mistake they'd have edited it.
We definitely didn't spot Nancy's mistake (or, honestly, even know she had made a mistake in speaking the name of the competition.)
Hopefully you were all able to enjoy the story despite that error! As hard as we try to get all of our own facts correct, when others speak, especially about topics on which they are far more knowledgeable than we are, it's difficult to catch everything.
Thanks for watching, however, and we hope you continue to enjoy our coverage!
Best,
