In a post titled Fittingly Mad: The Gym is NOT a Bar, Fitsugar gets her spandex into a bunch over guys who are aggressively flirtatious at the gym. I've never hit on a woman openly at the gym - about the pushiest thing I've done is correct a girls' squat form. See, my gym has a ridiculous "squat machine" that looks like a cross between a real squat rack and a mountain bike. Women who would never dream of actually squatting [sob!] use this contraption with great regularity and, as someone with bad knees, their poor form makes me ache in sympathy. Sometimes I correct them. I find it's much easier to chat up the ladies at a coffee shop two blocks from the gym - a lot of them head over there after a workout and they're more receptive there.
