What a pity that most of the photos look photoshopped in order to remove any evidence of muscle, except for the "softball" player (is that a form of baseball?) She seems to have been allowed to stay buff purely to give the person commenting on each one to say that she looks like she could beat him up.

"Softball" is a form of baseball played by girls and middle-aged men (baseball, btw, is sometimes called "hardball"). The ball in softball is not actually soft - it's merely larger and less dense than a baseball. Its evolution into what's called "fastpitch" softball, of which Jennie Finch is one of the premier pitchers, has caused it to leap-frog ahead of baseball in intensity. Very physically imposing male athletes in the U.S. usually wind up playing football, and now physically imposing female athletes often wind up playing softball.
And Jennie Finch, not for nothing, is a big, strong, good-looking girl. There is no photoshopping away her size.

Oh my god(dess), Lingster - Jennie's incredibly beautiful and buff and just WOW.  :P
You know, only last night, I was playing devil's advocate with myself in order to get a fresh perspective on how gorgeous the women we discuss here really are. I went to these God-awful 'thinspiration' sites, and forced myself to look at pictures of the so-called actresses and other mass-media fodder 'celebrities' therein, in order to remind myself of just how shocking our culture of worshipping thinness really is. It actually depressed me right up until I went to bed. On waking-up this morning, I decided that, in-between working, I would cheer myself up by enjoying the up-side of my devil's advocate process by going back to beautiful, buff babes with my perspective readjusted, but I never dreamed of being introduced to a new (to me), insanely beautiful athlete with a body that's so hot as to need oven gloves to touch my monitor after looking at pictures of her.
Compared to the sad, pale skeletons I forced myself to look at last night, her energy, strength and sexiness just oozes out of the photos of her. Thank-you - you've made my week.
Edit: I've just watched some YouTube footage of her pitching (is that the right word), and, as a fan and conoisseur of cricket (which was for a good while the number 1 bat-and-ball sport in the US, before baseball took over), I'm blown away by the action she gets on the ball UNDERARM. With her 6' height, and that arm-speed, I find myself imagining how brilliant a fast bowler she'd have been if cricket had been her sport, not softball. Shoaib Akhtar (the Rawalpindi Express himself) might have had to have watched out!

Once the Indy 500 starts, Milka Duno will be in that list. So should Kaia Kanepi, the 5-11 tennis player.
