Ali Huston and Jamie Reed
Ali Huston & Jamie Reed
Behold!
  • FTVideo has a bunch of new free content posted in its tour section, including photos of Jamie Reed and Ali Huston (sample at right).
  • There's lots of good buff superheroine art at the Art of Eric's Aberrant Campaign Yahoo! Group.
  • Ohio figure competitor Lauren Burnett has some nice videos up on FemFlex. She's a real cutie.
  • Jennifer Gates and Jessica Wright are profiled in Saturday's Indianapolis Star. One problem: there's only one photo. What kind of philistine publishes a feature with two stunners like Gates and Wright, and then only runs one photo? Geez.

I figured at least some people here would enjoy the drawings of the characters from my RPG campaign (or at least the female ones!) Big props to Tom Burgos for his recent flood of artwork. And I think some regular forum goers will recognize the work Jean Sinclair, who's done a few.

Just a question - why do you use Yahoo Groups when you could host the site on your own with more features?

Check out what I've done at Shulkie.com and Brawna.org using Drupal.

The majority of the work on the group is from Tom Burgos, and I guess just as I had enjoyed many Burgos pics that got shared at his fan yahoo groups, I wanted to share back a bit. I guess the yahoo group was the least effort to share the pics with any of the general public who might enjoy the art. After all, the first purpose of these commissions is the amusement of the small group of RPG game geeks who actually know all these characters from being in the ongoing campaign.

Your question does have me thinking. Putting up my own website could have it's uses... displaying commission art and I do have an upcoming project being published...

Hm. thanks Lingster. Food for thought...

Speaking as someone who hadn't seen the characters until yesterday, and as a former RPGer, I think you'd find a wider audience than you might expect.
I would enjoy a site about Olga.
