There's some stuff worth sharing out there, me buckos:
Canadian publisher Canoe runs a girl-of-day feature.
Last Sunday's girl was buff - and flexes for the camera.
You've got until Saturday night to check her out.
Check out this forum thread for info about a female bodybuilder documentary airing Sunday night on MSNBC!
Tunisian Dorra Zaier, described by Reuters as a "Female Arab bodybuilder", is pissing off people within and without her home country - read all about it.
Westernized nation (so-called in the article) or not, if Dorra Zaier keeps stepping on Muslim toes she might very well end up living in the USA in exile, much like Ayaan Hirsi Ali.

Yeah, fundamentalists don't care much about how westernized the country is. Fundamentalist Muslims in India still riot and kill (usually) their own women.

I find it ironic how Tunisia was founded by a princess, and now they're offended by this woman who demands action.
I also want to note that while women in these cultures suffer from religious extremism, two women related to fitness and bodybuilding have tragically become victims of crime in America this year. And Kelly Ryan plead guilty her involvement in a murder.

You can catch a glimpse of Dorra Zaier here at YouthNoise and [URL=http://news.yahoo.com/nphotos/Tunisian-female-bodybuilder-Dorra-Zaier-28-stretcehs-during-training-session/photo//080805/photos_ts/ 2008_08_05t072110_45

By the way, backward-thinking people in MANY countries are both shocked and offended by female bodybuilders. Islamic radicalism certainly may be a factor in this case, but it isn't a necessary factor for discrimination, since women such as Ms Zaier face obstacles worldwide.
