Its not a typo, its a bit of Britishism, What the company does is build the body (box and sometimes the cab) of misc trucks. Rolled out of the factory most trucks are simply a rolling chassis. (Frame, Engine and drive train, etc) Everything but the body on it, though some do have the cab portion on them already. There brand just happons to be reefer trucks for transporting frozen foods and or refrigerated food items.

I got the meaning of it. In the U.S. we would say "body manufacturer" or "fabricator" or "aftermarket customizer" or some such. So it's a Britishism.

...used to work for a company that built those bodies amongst its other areas of manufacture. The drivers for the company that built the chassis used to bolt a driver's seat onto the open chassis frame and drive it down without any sort of cab at all. In the winter they apparently used to wear Irvin flying jackets, sheepskin gauntlets and flying goggles to protect their eyes and stop themselves from getting hypothermia in a 40 mph airstream.
