Tennis player Jelena Dokic pissed off some people at the end of last month by withdrawing from an Italian tournament immediately after receiving a wild card to play in it. But since her father threatened to kidnap her earlier this year and nuke Sydney, I'm willing to cut her a break. Sadly, we won't be seeing Dokic at the U.S. Open next month because her WTA ranking is still far too low. But maybe in 2007?
