I received an email from Ingrid Marcum just now, regarding her performance in the Olympic trials in Atlanta over the weekend. (This pleased me greatly because it means there's a high probability she remembers my name.) A competitive weightlifter, Ingrid didn't give any details on her lifts or how she ranked, but she did include a link to some photos, which are very striking.
Ingrid also competes in the bobsled, but 2008 has the wrong Olympics for that. (And Ingrid would look really silly if she showed up in Beijing with a bobsled this summer.) Curiously, Ingrid was passed over for "American Gladiators". That's really odd because she is - um, what's that word? oh, right - PERFECT for the role. (Swear to God, NBC should just ask me to cast the freakin' show. I'd do it cheap; though admittedly there'd be about 25 women and no men when I was done.)
You know something? We argue like anything over politics, but, when it comes to buff chicks, we certainly sing from the same hymnsheet. I'd love to assist you in your casting/auditions process!

Instead of red vs blue competitors it could be Right vs Left, and the winner gets to go on the political commentary circuit and shout the loudest party line!
And I'd still watch it.
