Well, the good news is that a ranked female powerlifter has made headlines. The bad news is that Savannah Myers - who at one time was the U.S. Natural Athlete Strength Association top-ranked unequipped female powerlifter in the 198+ weight class - has been busted for her role in a string of bank robberies in Indiana, Missouri, Kentucky and Ohio.
Fortunately for Myers, Federal Penitentiaries are well equipped with gym and weight equipment. When she gets out of prison in 40 or 50 years, she'll be well-prepared to resume competition in the masters' division.
Of course they're not in the same league as Craig and Kelly, few are - but even so, this yet once again only proves the old adage that brawn and brains aren't necessarily complementary with those in the uberbuffed / uberstrong circuit.

Well, a lot of extreme personalities have trouble 'coloring inside the lines'. Someone who's willing to transcend social norms to achieve a goal may actually lack the ability to remain inside those social norms. Maybe sometimes determination is actually dysfunction.
