Egotastic has a photo of Keira Knightley pumping two five pound dumbbells, but she's so damned puny that it almost seems as if her arms are going to splinter and fall off. [Ed. note to Keira: Lifting weights doesn't do much good if you're suffering from malnutrition.]
Knightley is a stunningly beautiful woman, but she's starting to resemble Karen Carpenter. The news that she's going to appear nude in her next film does nothing for me - where's the titillation of baring all if she has no flesh on her bones?

Hey, Lingster, shall we bury the hatchet in our disagreement over Ms Spears? To kick-off this new-found entente cordiale, let me agree wholeheartedly with your sadness over the state of Ms Knightley, who swears that she knows what anorexia looks like because family members of hers had it, but who, if she's not strictly anorexic, must surely have some kind of dysfunctional relationship with food.
As regards the weights, I suggest that they may be props brought to the shoot by the photographer to give the impression that "Keira's not unhealthy - she's even lifting weights!" when anyone who stops and looks at the photo will see through it easily. What a terrible, terrible thing for a beautiful, talented actress to do to herself. :cry:
