 Marilyn Monroe  poster. Many of you have probably seen it before - it shows the glamour icon doing a dumbbell chest press. At the time of its initial release - 1952 - it probably introduced a whole segment of American womanhood to the idea of building up their chests using freeweights.Amazingly, it's not the only photo of Monroe working out - there's also another poster available from Amazon.com.People forget, but she was actually pretty athletic. I've seen photos in books (you all remember books, right?) that show her playing softball in 1948 or '49, looking surpringly muscular. This is the best example I could find.
