If you have photos from events, Amaz0ns will be accepting them for publication. Photos should include subject matter of interest to readers of Amaz0ns, but should not include material that violates anyone's reasonable expectation of privacy. How do you know whether someone has a reasonable expectation of privacy? Keep reading. Posed If a woman has given you permission to photograph her and hasn't asked you to avoid sharing the photo, then we will consider the photo for publication. The permission can be tacit - we don't need a written form - if she's posing for the photo and appears to be sober and at least 18 years of age, we can assume she has given you permission. Posed photos of women over the age of 18 will almost always be accepted, assuming the content is of interest to readers.
Candid A candid photo is one in which the subject is not aware she is being photographed by you. This is dicey territory, and Amaz0ns will only consider the photo to be acceptable for publication if the woman is knowingly presenting herself to people in a public place at the time the photo was taken. This would include female bodybuilders on a stage, or "booth babes" on a convention floor, or college basketball players during a game.
Age requirements If the subject of a photo appears to be under 18 years of age Amaz0ns will be very likely to reject it. The consent of a minor, explicit or implied, often has no legal significance - they can't give you permission to photograph them. Girls from their mid-teens on, competing onstage at bodybuilding competitions or performing in pageants, expositions or shows will usually be accepted if there is nothing of a sexual nature in the images. Basically, Amaz0ns celebrates female athleticism, not underage sexual imagery.
