I recently downloaded Picasa, a media manager application available for free from Google, and I really like it. Once installed, Picasa crawls through your hard drives and finds all the photos and videos you have. Then you can sort through them in any number of ways, categorize, flag them as favorites, etc. If you've got a lot of media on your PC, it's pretty great.
