This week, I'll be posting links to the works of Jun Tsukasa (司淳) (http://www7.big.or.jp/~abura/).  I'm a huge fan of his work, and not just because it's goreous stuff.  He has a tendency to throw some buff women into his artwork, and when rendered in his style, it's a beautiful thing to see.  As this week progresses, I'll be showcasing some my favorite pieces from this talented artist.  You can find some samples of his artwork in his gallery (http://www7.big.or.jp/~abura/TSUKASA_INDEX.HTML), but there's not much muscle up there.

Since Summer Comiket is just around the corner, that means the latest edition of Tsukasa Bullet (司弾) will be out (http://www7.big.or.jp/~abura/2006s_SAMPLE01.HTML) at the event.  There's sure to be some nice pictures in there if history holds up.

His past editions have included some nice images.  The one at the top is from Tsukasa Bullet 2001.  I should mention that copies of these doujinshi (http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/doujinshi) are rare as only a small quantity is printed for sale at Comiket.  Here are some other images for you to enjoy from the 2001 edition:

[long] range bullet (http://longrangebullet.info) is a site dedicated to the works of Range Murata and Jun Tsukasa.  It's one of the best resources on the web for getting samples of all of Jun Tsukasa's published works.  There's a handful of sample images there as well that are definitely worth looking at.  Many of these images are NSFW, so take the proper precautions. 

There's one mercenary-type character that shows up in a few of his works that caught my eye.  She's depicted frequently with a nice amount of muscle on her frame.  Here are some of the images that I'd recommend for amaz0ns.com (http://www.amaz0ns.com) members.  The middle one is definitely NSFW and I've gimp'ed the black bar to keep the thumbnail PG, while the other 2 images are borderline.  As always, use your judgement.

Jun Tsukasa Part 3

Jun Tsukasa has done a lot of work for Psikyo (http://www.x-nauts.com/psikyo/), a Japanese video game maker.  One of these game series is Sengoku Ace (http://www.x-nauts.com/psikyo/product/bre/index.html), which also has a sequel for the Sony PSP called Sengoku Cannon (http://www.x-nauts.com/psp/cannon/).   There are 2 characters in the series worth noting: Koyori (http://x-nauts.com/psp/cannon/main/chara_koyori.html) and Kaen (http://www.x-nauts.com/psp/cannon/main/chara_kaen.html).

Koyori is your typical busty anime miko (http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/miko) character and appears in several other of Psikyo's titles, including the Hot Gimmick mah-jongg series (which are the topic of the next 2 parts of this on-going series on the works of Jun Tsukasa).  Kaen is a darkly beautiful character with muscle.  She is depicted in the last image of the first post (http://amaz0ns.com/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,135/topic,3608.0/) featuring Jun Tsukasa's works.  The site for Sengoku Cannon actually contains some wallpapers available for download (http://www.x-nauts.com/psp/cannon/main/dl.html).  I've rehosted a few of them over at ImageShack as well so that you can view them in this post.

I've mentioned this one before (http://amaz0ns.com/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,135/topic,1044.msg7772#msg7772), but it bears repeating.  Jun Tsukasa provides the artwork for Taisen Hot Gimmick Forever (対戦 ホット ギミック フォーエバー) (http://www.x-nauts.com/psikyo/product/hg4/index.html) which features a girl from a bodybuilding club called Akiko Daimon (大門明子).  The Taisen Hot Gimmick series is a Mahjongg game played by Japanese rules, and this particular title is the fourth one in the series.

The game was originally released in the arcades, and was ported to the PC by a company MyHarvest (http://www.myharvest.co.jp/).  The site for the PC conversion (http://www.myharvest.co.jp/myharvest.files/upfile/hg4/hg4.htm) has some more good images from the game. There's a  product page for it at Amazon.co.jp (http://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/product/B0000BVZZZ) (you'll need to click on the link labeled ［はい］), but it's not in stock there anymore.  It's pretty hard to find these days, but I was lucky enough to grab it from an on-line store called HimeyaShop (http://www.himeyashop.com).  Unfortunately, it's not available from there anymore.  If you can find a copy, it will run under the English version of Windows XP. 

Akiko-chan is one of the first players that you'll play against.  Each opponent starts out with a certain amount of points, and you play until you either run out of points or you win three hands in a row.  The rules of the game are very close to Gin Rummy, and the goal is to make hands of three-of-a-kind or three-in-a-row with all your available tiles.  You can claim your opponents discarded tiles ("chi" or "pon") or draw tiles until you can win via a "ron".  The path to winning is made easier by various power-ups that you can use which make it more likely to complete your sets. 

After beating your opponent, you're given the choice to punish them or to let them be.  Each character has two different punishments.  In the case of Akiko-chan, you can force her to do some posing or do some weightlifting.  As she poses, she flexes her chest up to a point where her top comes flying off.  In the weightlifting punishment, she's topless on a bench with the barbell covering her chest as she lifts and exposes more of her breasts.  The jiggle factor is high in the scenes.  I managed to get some screencaps of the punishments, and even put together a worksafe animated gif of the posing punishment (http://img72.imageshack.us/img72/4053/posezr3.gif).  I've got a higher resolution version which I'll post if there's demand for it.

If you can hunt down a copy, it's definitely worthwhile just for these few scenes.  It was a bit of a challenge to beat the whole game, and a lot of the other characters are also quite attractive.  Some of the other punishments in the game are pretty interesting.  There are also two hidden characters (http://www.x-nauts.com/psikyo/product/hg4/himitsu.html) which you can unlock.  If you manage to score a copy, I'd be happy to help if you have any problems winning.

Part 4 of the Jun Tsukasa series of posts was about Hot Gimmick 4, so it's only natural that Part 5 be about the newly released Taisen Hot Gimmick 5 Eternal (対戦ホットギミック5 未来永劫（みらいへゴー）Mirai e Go) (http://x-nauts.com/AC/HG5/).  Unlike Hot Gimmick 4 (and Hot Gimmick 1), Jun Tsukasa is not the only one producing artwork for the game.  In fact, I can only see one character done by him, but it's a good one.  Scroll down to the end for a higher resolution picture.

If you've ever wondered what a Mahjongg arcade machine looks like, wonder no more.  Here's a pic of pair of Hot Gimmick 5 coin-op machines along with the original arcade flyers.  If you look closely, you'll see a series of buttons on the front of the machine in lieu of a joystick.  Each button represents a tile position in your hand, and you just hit the button of the corresponding tile you wish to discard.

The game runs on the Taito Type X arcade system board (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taito_Type_X) which is a PC based system (http://www.system16.com/hardware.php?id=677).   I'm not certain if it's available to consumer's in the US, but if it was I'd pick it up.  Especially since Taisen Hot Gimmick Mix Party (対戦ホットギミックミックスパーティー) (http://www.am-j.co.jp/newmachine/200501/001.html) is also available for the system, which appears to collect Hot Gimmick's 1 through 4 (http://kasumi7.jugem.cc/?image=263).  If anyone has any more information about this, please let me know.

I too would really love to see a larger resolution version of the superb animation you did. It is indeed rare to find quality work dealing with that sort of subject matter.

THe bench scene would be kinda nice to see. Im very impressed with your gif skills. :D

There's no hyperbole involved when I write that for me, these posts, Jun Tsukasa I-V, together form the best of your updates to DATE. The gif, although small, is non-pareil. Cheers sir!

I would love to see the 'punishment' scenes for the weightlifter anime woman Akiko Daimon. Especially since they seem to be less about humiliation and pain and more like what Aikiko would be doing in the privacy of the gym if the fancy took her.

There's no animation to that picture.  Every character has 2 scenes with animation, and a static screen with a few versions for story purposes.

Makes me wonder what else you have in the archives. (>_o)

There's a book called Psikyo Illustrations which features more of the character mentioned back in Jun Tsukasa Part 3 (http://amaz0ns.com/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,135/topic,3608.msg31385#msg31385).  Actually, it's a mook (a portmanteau (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portmanteau) of movie and book) published by Gamest with ISBN# 4-88199-416-6 (Gamest Mook Vol 113).  As the title indicates, it features illustrations from some of Psikyo's games (http://www.x-nauts.com/psikyo/), including the Sengoku Ace (http://www.x-nauts.com/psikyo/product/bre/index.html) series.  That means more pictures of sexy Kaen can be found within.  And that could never be a bad thing, right?

Sadly, I've run out of Jun Tsukasa material to post, so this will be the last post in this series for awhile.  I've tried to save the best for last, though.  I mentioned back in Jun Tsukasa Part 4 (http://amaz0ns.com/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,135/topic,3608.msg31440#msg31440) that I'd post a higher resolution version of the posing punishment from Hot Gimmick Forever (http://www.myharvest.co.jp/myharvest.files/upfile/hg4/hg4.htm).  After reviewing what is accepted as fair-use (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fair_use) in terms of thumbnails (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thumbnail), I've created some larger thumbnails of the complete and NSFW posing punishment (http://img180.imageshack.us/my.php?image=anime2c200azx6.gif) and weightlifting punishment (http://img86.imageshack.us/my.php?image=anime2c200bad1.gif) for Akiko Daimon.  The animation didn't come out as smooth as I would have liked, but it's passable.  Like what you see?  I encourage everyone to try to find and play the game.

Thanks for the compliment.  Yeah, I can tell you've been on 4chan a lot recently.  Not that that's a bad thing.  There's occasional muscle threads in /d/ that I contribute to there. 

As good as the low-res versions are, the hi-res ones are even better.  It was definitely worth the bucks I spent to get the game. You can adjust the speed on punishments by tapping on the keyboard in the game, and it's because of this that I was able to capture it frame by frame and stitch it together.

Thank you for taking the time to assemble and share these wonderfully 'fit' animations with us.

Miss Daimon is an excellent combination of manga looks, realistic rendering and athletic conditioning. To see her in motion and exhibiting her gym forged strength is a thing of beauty. Jun Tsukasa has a real skill with character design.

I posted recently about some resin-kit models of Jun Tsukasa characters (http://amaz0ns.com/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,135/topic,3608.msg36082/#msg36082).  After doing some more digging, I've found that a lot more of his characters have been brought into the 3-D world.  One of my favorites is Koyori (こより), the miko character first discussed in Jun Tsukasa Part 3 (http://amaz0ns.com/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,135/topic,3608.msg31385/#msg31385).  A gallery of pics of the figure (http://www.cerberusproject.com/2004hp/chara/KoyoriMain.htm) is available at a site called the Cerberus Project (http://www.cerberusproject.com), and I'll be posting about a few more figures I found there in the next day or two.  The resin kit can be found on eBay (http://search.ebay.com/koyori-resin) for a pretty reasonable price given it's original price of 12,000 Yen (a little over $100 USD at today's rates).  Most of the sellers seem to be from Thailand, so draw your own conclusions.  Some other characters that you may find interesting are: Yamashita (http://www.cerberusproject.com/2004hp/LiscenceGall/YamashitaMain.htm) and Kacchu Musume (甲冑娘, Armor Girl) (http://www.cerberusproject.com/2004hp/chara/Tukasa_BulletMain.htm), named after Jun Tsukasa's Doujinshi Circle.

I've discovered the name of the character with the monstrous arm first depicted back in Jun Tsukasa Part 8 (http://amaz0ns.com/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,135/topic,3608.msg31998/#msg31998).  Her name is Tsutikure (土塊), and an awesome gallery of pics of a figure (http://www.cerberusproject.com/2004hp/chara/TsutikureL.htm) based on the character is available at the Cerberus Project (http://www.cerberusproject.com).  The resin kit can also be found on eBay (http://search.ebay.com/tsutikure-resin).  Originally priced at 14,800 Yen ($125 USD), I'm amazed that enthusiasts in Japan can afford to support their hobby.  Luckily it can be had for much less (about $50 shipped) on eBay through our friends in Thailand.

I managed to score a copy of Tsukasa Bullet 2006 which was sold at Comiket this summer.  The quality of the paper and binding is very good, and the artwork is superb.  There's not much in the way of muscle in the doujinshi, but I've attached some sketches that appear within that feature Homura and Tsutikure.  These images also appeared in an anthology published under Jun Tsukasa's circle, Kacchu Musume in 2005.

Comiket 71 is coming up, and Tsukasa Jun is making his 2006 Tsukasa Bullet Doujinshi available again along with a new 2007 Calendar. I managed to find a copy of Tsukasa Bullet 1997 (司弾1997) (http://longrangebullet.info/tsukasa/works/1997.html) on eBay and I'm really happy I did.  Even though it's an older work of Jun Tsukasa, there's a ton of great pictures in it.  I've made some low-res scans of my favorite pages, and I'll be posting them over the course of the next three days.  Today I'm featuring his gorgeous depictions of female ninja.  His rendition of Psylocke (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psylocke) of X-men fame shows quite a bit of buffness. I'm throwing in a pic of Mai Shiranui (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mai_Shiranui) from SNK's King of Fighters series since it's a beautiful picture.  He has quite a few drawings of bouncy Mai in the book, but none of them have much muscle.

Jun Tsukasa Part 17

As promised here are some pics of Cammy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cammy) from the Tsukasa Bullet 1997 doujinshi.  The way the doujinshi is laid out, there's a bunch of color works at the beginning, followed by some black and white pin-ups and a manga story or two.  This particular doujinshi is fairly large, clocking in at robust 130 pages.  My favorite picture from the doujinshi will appear in tomorrow's post which will be the last one in this series of posts featuring pics from Tsukasa Bullet 1997.

I've saved the best for last.  These three images of lovely Chun-Li (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chun-Li) from Capcom's Street Fighter series also appear in Tsukasa Bullet 1997.  Chun-Li flexes a nice bicep in the last picture, and it's my favorite one in the whole book.  I'll have to try to get my hands on Tsukasa Bullet 1999 to see if he continued the trend in there.   If you come across a copy, be sure and let me (elee0228 (http://amaz0ns.com/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,135/action,profile/u,993/)) know.

Just found this awesome poster by Jun Tsukasa in an auction on eBay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290174441229) of a character named Risty (http://queensblade.net/character/char_002.php) from a game called Queen's Blade (http://queensblade.net/).  It's not too late to bid on it, so forth and bid.  There's another buff and busty character named Cattleya (http://queensblade.net/character/char_013.php) in the game, which I'll be posting about in the near future.  But in the meantime, please enjoy the Tsukasa-Jun-goodness of the artwork in this poster.
