Amaz0ns Site Hero Fett (http://amaz0ns.com/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,135/action,profile/u,5139/) is terrific artist.   He's been known to refer to his style as tracing Adam Hughes (http://amaz0ns.com/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,135/topic,3051.msg26212#msg26212), but I daresay that he's better than AH! in my book based on his unique talent for portraying women of unusual size.  He is somehow able to make a massive amount of muscle on a woman work in a very special way.  I've been a fan of his since I saw his work at the WreckShop's old site (http://web.archive.org/web/20040416043245/www.wreck-shop.com/Wreck-Shop/main.html).

The collection here is fairly complete, with most, if not all, of Fett's works to date.  Amaz0ns readers will most likely be anxious to discover when we can expect more from Fett.  Quoth Fett, "As for getting back in the game - I should be back probably a lot sooner than you think."  I'm certain that I'm not alone in waiting for Fett's next masterpiece, especially if it features more of the lovely Ness.

I'd reply if this damned crappy software would let me argh.  Ol' blargolis here, this is my real name.  Well, no, but Fett is one of the best and glad to see him around.  This site is difficult to navigate to say the least, but then I'm old and it's difficult to navigate much of anything.  Nice to see you, Fett and the mighty Lingster, et al.

Just checking the photobucket - I don't think anything is missing. Maybe a pencil or two but that's it. God - so many of those pics suck.

Anyhow - my progression; the pencils for Kid Komix's commission (plus a bonus - a big one since it's so late) are all done. I did a first draft of a new Ness pic - the atmos worked but she feels too bulky/heavy so I'll be redoing it from scratch. And that's just the stuff I feel like mentioning...

You should post the sketch for feedback.  For the record, I don't think any of the pictures up there suck.  And quite a few of them are among my favorite pics of all time. 

Hah - I don't mean to offend you, but I really can't stand the vast majority of them. Some are just embarrassing. But I'm happy that you like 'em.

As for feedback - It's tempting, but nah. I'd rather the next pic you see of mine is a fully rendered piece I'm proud of. I've got a sketch of one of my other characters inked and coloured and on my pc, but I'm not uploading it as I don't want to have it be my 'comeback' image. :)

Hey, thanks for posting all of these.
I found Fett's artwork a few years ago, and I loved it.  I remember searching around for Fett art on the web and getting thousands of pages of Boba Fett.  So it is great to see this little trove of pictures.

This one is just gorgeous. 

Anyway, I am stoked to hear you are making more art!  I look forward to seeing it!

It's the chainsketching thing that's going around DeviantART right now.  Fett signed up (http://fettcom.deviantart.com/journal/19385418) for a sketch from someone and had to continue the chain had to offer 5 sketches to others.  I'm one of the ones that requested a sketch, so I'm offering animated gifs (http://elee0228.deviantart.com/journal/19516280/) to 5 lucky people (3 slots still available, BTW).  Refaal (http://refaal.deviantart.com) requested one from me, and so on and so forth.  It's pretty fun and is resulting in a lot of nice sketches.  Wanna join?

Getting a dA page doesn't sign you up to a chain sketch. Asking for a sketch from someone doing the chain sketch does.

You can have a dA page, slap up all kinds of your artwork, have a little journal, get some attention, and have some fun. You won't have to draw anything you don't want to. It's free too. And allows you to sell prints online (but I dunno how that works).

Really think you should get it.

I have my own sites. A little more feedback isn't enough to justify the effort. Besides I don't do much art of the Deviant sort anymore.  ;)  Their is no real advantage for me to be on DA.

Doesn't have to be 'deviant' stuff! If it's good enough for every comic professional, it should be good enough for you! So, nyah!

Bah! I know of comics professionals on DA and I don't look at their work for the simple reason that the navigation on DA is a pain in the ass. Same reason I never signed up for comics space or my space. I prefer the sites with easier navigation... Like this place.  :)

Just did a search for DCM and only found a 3D image by someone else. Did a name search for David C Matthews and got zip... Yet I know he has a DA account. I've seen it with my own eyes. The DA sight is nigh useless. Getting from pint A to point B is too much work. On his main site I have no problem. Google, God bless it, found his DA site that the DA search couldn't find. I'll pass on DA.

And of course none of this has anything to do with the very nice drawing

Oh yeah. The search is terrible. I don't think it searches artist's names, only the keywords they attach to it.

Yeah, if you do a search for "female muscle," set to show the most popular results first, one of DCM's pieces is the first result.

Yup, the modified searches are really useful.  They're FAQ topic on search (http://help.deviantart.com/577/) is also pretty useful. 

By default, searches just search the tags that the artist defines, and the description of the deviation (I think).  That's why I always add my name as a tag to all deviations I submit so that they'll turn up on the tag searches.

Also - sticking Rex on my deviantwatch means I'll know when he does something new.

I'm enjoying this thread immensely (pun intended!).  I've always loved your work, Fett.  Though you strike me as more of a Terry Dodson fan than Adam Hughes. :)

Just the appearance of the art, the faces particularly.  There are a number that show the influence of Hughes, but more of them remind me of Dodson.  The faces do, anyway.  Dodson's faces tend to be more polished than those drawn by Hughes.  Then again, I always assumed that Dodson was a Hughes fan as well.  So maybe there's a common trait amongst talented artists who admire Adam Hughes. ;)
