Title: Fett Post by: elee0228 on Aug 29, 2006, 06:02 PM (http://s105.photobucket.com/albums/m237/fettcom/th_av-110.gif) (http://s105.photobucket.com/albums/m237/fettcom/)
Amaz0ns Site Hero Fett (http://amaz0ns.com/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,135/action,profile/u,5139/) is terrific artist. He's been known to refer to his style as tracing Adam Hughes (http://amaz0ns.com/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,135/topic,3051.msg26212#msg26212), but I daresay that he's better than AH! in my book based on his unique talent for portraying women of unusual size. He is somehow able to make a massive amount of muscle on a woman work in a very special way. I've been a fan of his since I saw his work at the WreckShop's old site (http://web.archive.org/web/20040416043245/www.wreck-shop.com/Wreck-Shop/main.html). Fett has kindly given his permission for me to upload his portfolio to an album on PhotoBucket.com (http://s105.photobucket.com/albums/m237/fettcom/). Don't forget to visit the subfolder featuring his fantastic pencils (http://s105.photobucket.com/albums/m237/fettcom/pencils/). Some of my favorite pieces are rendered in good old black and white there, and I think there are several must-see images there. Here are some of my favorites: (http://s105.photobucket.com/albums/m237/fettcom/pencils/th_aaatshirtscan3.jpg) (http://s105.photobucket.com/albums/m237/fettcom/pencils/?action=view¤t=aaatshirtscan3.jpg&refPage=&imgAnch=imgAnch13) (http://s105.photobucket.com/albums/m237/fettcom/pencils/th_shera49vh.jpg) (http://s105.photobucket.com/albums/m237/fettcom/pencils/?action=view¤t=shera49vh.jpg&refPage=&imgAnch=imgAnch1) (http://s105.photobucket.com/albums/m237/fettcom/pencils/th_shera35on.jpg) (http://s105.photobucket.com/albums/m237/fettcom/pencils/?action=view¤t=shera35on.jpg&refPage=&imgAnch=imgAnch2) The collection here is fairly complete, with most, if not all, of Fett's works to date. Amaz0ns readers will most likely be anxious to discover when we can expect more from Fett. Quoth Fett, "As for getting back in the game - I should be back probably a lot sooner than you think." I'm certain that I'm not alone in waiting for Fett's next masterpiece, especially if it features more of the lovely Ness. (http://s105.photobucket.com/albums/m237/fettcom/th_Ness_Night.jpg) (http://s105.photobucket.com/albums/m237/fettcom/?action=view¤t=Ness_Night.jpg&refPage=&imgAnch=imgAnch14) (http://s105.photobucket.com/albums/m237/fettcom/th_Ness_Day.jpg) (http://s105.photobucket.com/albums/m237/fettcom/?action=view¤t=Ness_Day.jpg&refPage=&imgAnch=imgAnch15) (http://s105.photobucket.com/albums/m237/fettcom/th_fett0012.jpg) (http://s105.photobucket.com/albums/m237/fettcom/?action=view¤t=fett0012.jpg&refPage=&imgAnch=imgAnch7) Archives (http://www.amaz0ns.com/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,44/topic,1699.0) Title: Re: Fett Post by: 10-4 on Aug 29, 2006, 09:00 PM This is indeed cool. Some of these images I have never seen before.
Title: Re: Fett Post by: Fett on Aug 29, 2006, 09:22 PM Thanks so much for the kind words.
Title: Re: Fett Post by: blargolis on Aug 30, 2006, 09:45 AM I'd reply if this damned crappy software would let me argh. Ol' blargolis here, this is my real name. Well, no, but Fett is one of the best and glad to see him around. This site is difficult to navigate to say the least, but then I'm old and it's difficult to navigate much of anything. Nice to see you, Fett and the mighty Lingster, et al.
Title: Re: Fett Post by: Fett on Aug 30, 2006, 11:01 PM Thanks Blargolis. Good to see you here.
Just checking the photobucket - I don't think anything is missing. Maybe a pencil or two but that's it. God - so many of those pics suck. Anyhow - my progression; the pencils for Kid Komix's commission (plus a bonus - a big one since it's so late) are all done. I did a first draft of a new Ness pic - the atmos worked but she feels too bulky/heavy so I'll be redoing it from scratch. And that's just the stuff I feel like mentioning... Title: Re: Fett Post by: elee0228 on Aug 30, 2006, 11:27 PM Thanks Blargolis. Good to see you here. Just checking the photobucket - I don't think anything is missing. You should post the sketch for feedback. For the record, I don't think any of the pictures up there suck. And quite a few of them are among my favorite pics of all time. Title: Re: Fett Post by: Fett on Aug 31, 2006, 12:03 AM Hah - I don't mean to offend you, but I really can't stand the vast majority of them. Some are just embarrassing. But I'm happy that you like 'em.
As for feedback - It's tempting, but nah. I'd rather the next pic you see of mine is a fully rendered piece I'm proud of. I've got a sketch of one of my other characters inked and coloured and on my pc, but I'm not uploading it as I don't want to have it be my 'comeback' image. :) Thanks, though. Title: Re: Fett Post by: Jedediah on Sep 18, 2006, 06:20 PM Hey, thanks for posting all of these.
I found Fett's artwork a few years ago, and I loved it. I remember searching around for Fett art on the web and getting thousands of pages of Boba Fett. So it is great to see this little trove of pictures. This one is just gorgeous. Quote (http://s105.photobucket.com/albums/m237/fettcom/th_Ness_Day.jpg) (http://s105.photobucket.com/albums/m237/fettcom/?action=view¤t=Ness_Day.jpg&refPage=&imgAnch=imgAnch15) Anyway, I am stoked to hear you are making more art! I look forward to seeing it! Title: Re: Fett Post by: Fett on Sep 18, 2006, 07:55 PM I remember searching around for Fett art on the web and getting thousands of pages of Boba Fett. Title: Re: Fett Post by: elee0228 on Jul 25, 2008, 03:33 PM It's the chainsketching thing that's going around DeviantART right now. Fett signed up (http://fettcom.deviantart.com/journal/19385418) for a sketch from someone and had to continue the chain had to offer 5 sketches to others. I'm one of the ones that requested a sketch, so I'm offering animated gifs (http://elee0228.deviantart.com/journal/19516280/) to 5 lucky people (3 slots still available, BTW). Refaal (http://refaal.deviantart.com) requested one from me, and so on and so forth. It's pretty fun and is resulting in a lot of nice sketches. Wanna join?

Being a spectator gives me the hard work of others for free. Very cool. 8) So a spectator I remain. ;) Title: Re: Fett Post by: Fett on Aug 08, 2008, 08:26 AM Getting a dA page doesn't sign you up to a chain sketch. Asking for a sketch from someone doing the chain sketch does.
You can have a dA page, slap up all kinds of your artwork, have a little journal, get some attention, and have some fun. You won't have to draw anything you don't want to. It's free too. And allows you to sell prints online (but I dunno how that works). Really think you should get it. Title: Re: Fett Post by: 10-4 on Aug 08, 2008, 10:56 AM I have my own sites. A little more feedback isn't enough to justify the effort. Besides I don't do much art of the Deviant sort anymore. ;) Their is no real advantage for me to be on DA.
Title: Re: Fett Post by: Fett on Aug 08, 2008, 12:15 PM Doesn't have to be 'deviant' stuff! If it's good enough for every comic professional, it should be good enough for you! So, nyah!
Title: Re: Fett Post by: 10-4 on Aug 09, 2008, 10:29 AM Bah! I know of comics professionals on DA and I don't look at their work for the simple reason that the navigation on DA is a pain in the ass. I figure the less time you spend posting about your stuff, the more time you have to make more of it. So get to it! *cracks whip* Oh yeahhhhhhhh. That guy. More territory for me to mark. ;) A thread magically appears for you: The Art of Rex (10-4) (http://amaz0ns.com/option,com_smf/Itemid,135/topic,7804.0/) This is Ashlee chan reminding you all to Nueter your horny dogs! :o and Fett Very nice work, that one with the little Girl and boy working out, is that a comic your working on? I love your Big Muscled Girls , keep up the great work! Fett mentions in the Deviation comments for Easy Gainer Fett-Style (http://fettcom.deviantart.com/art/Easy-Gainer-Fett-Style-95292875) that it's his take on a previous 4-page growth comic of the same name done by Wreck-Shop (http://www.pressoblivion.com) for LH Art (http://www.lhart.com). It was an awesome comic in its own right, and I love both the original and Fett's rendition. This is almost as amazing as Fett's recent productivity! ;) This is nothing. I figured no one here wants to see a fat guy playing video games on an Amazon forum so I post it to several other forums and of course http://gpy.blogspot.com/ (http://gpy.blogspot.com/) hosted by none other then Tourist. Clik through if you dare. ;) Title: Re: Fett Post by: elee0228 on Nov 10, 2008, 09:12 AM Huzzah! New Fett artwork:

Title: Re: Fett Post by: Tonus on Nov 11, 2008, 06:11 AM I'm enjoying this thread immensely (pun intended!). I've always loved your work, Fett. Though you strike me as more of a Terry Dodson fan than Adam Hughes. :)
Title: Re: Fett Post by: Fett on Nov 11, 2008, 08:46 AM Thanks, Tonus but... really? Why's that? Dodson doesn't really rate for me.
Title: Re: Fett Post by: Tonus on Nov 11, 2008, 09:08 AM Just the appearance of the art, the faces particularly. There are a number that show the influence of Hughes, but more of them remind me of Dodson. The faces do, anyway. Dodson's faces tend to be more polished than those drawn by Hughes. Then again, I always assumed that Dodson was a Hughes fan as well. So maybe there's a common trait amongst talented artists who admire Adam Hughes. ;)
