i can't modify my posts because the icon don't appear ! Help ! Please. ;D

None of the icons appear?

Same here, too.  At the very least, there's no "edit" or "modify" icon for our own posts.

I was wondering if you'd taken a policy like Newgrounds (http://www.newgrounds.com) and removed it to prevent flame war provocateurs from going back, rewriting inflammatory posts, and pleading "I never wrote ANYTHING like that!"  ::)

It does annoy me when people do that, but I don't think I've changed user permissions recently in a way that might cancel the ability of members to edit their own posts.

icons are : reply - notify - mark as unread -  send topic - print

and :  remove topic  -  lock/unlock  -  link to calendar

the icons modify  and delete appear in my last post (reply#4 of this topic) but not in other ones.

Speaking of icons, your avatar is missing, scat.  Rather then linking from Imageshack you might want upload onto your Amaz0ns profile page.

I've noticed the same problem.  If I spot an error in a post before anyone else has had a chance to comment, I can usually still modify it (the button is there), but if I don't spot the error until later, the button goes the way of the dodo.  For example, I modified Chapters 1 & 2 of Second Chance in order to add paragraph indentations and italicize certain portions of the text, and had no problems.  A couple of days later, when I noticed that I had put the QuikMart off of I-275, I wanted to go back and change it so that it was off of I-75 (near Lincoln Park, a much more likely area of Detroit for bad things to happen to good people in), but the button had disappeared.

i know i allready say that and you re certainly very busy but it's impossible to modify posts and seems i'm not the only one. in fact , when i tried to modify my last post, i had a message that said something like : time to edit posts is elapsed. then the icon "modify" has now disappeared. there is only "quote" remaining. i hope you can do something .

I made a post in the Fandom section and realized in my editing of the title I had gotten it confused, but was unable to edit it. However my second post in the thread I can still modify.

Okay, I can't modify any of my posts again.
