I would like anyone who hasn't joined my group to sign up, because in just a matter of weeks I will be uploading the OFFICIAL first FMG transformation sequence to my massive project Final Judgment.

It's not going to be hosted anywhere else and will remain yahoo exclusive for quite some time.  You can try to wait until I post it to DA but I can assure you it will be quite some time before it arrives there.  I'm not asking for money, I'm not asking for anything but for people to come in to the group and enjoy something I have been sweating for, trying to complete it now for SIX years!

It wasn't until recently I FINALLY got the technology to make this project a reality, I have re-mastered this animation to include the highest amount of detail and color quality possible, and you can see a little preview of it at my yahoo group.

Animation update!

The grand total of animation frames so far has tallied up to 154.  Enough progress has been made that I will be sharing some of the completed animation frames for everyone to see!  Let the FMG madness begin!

The two best places to get VAs to my knowledge are . . .

The Voice Acting Alliance and the Voice Acting Club. Out of the two, the Club is friendlier to original material and seems to have a more professional organization. However, I am not sure whether your material would fly with the admins or the amateur actors/actresses. You might want to make a more "mainstream" production first and get people to trust you a bit before presenting this one if you go that route.

I really hope this works out for you.

Thanks for the heads up, I'm personally hoping that if I can't manage to get an actress for free.  That perhaps someone in the community wouldn't mind sponsoring (I.E.) paying the actresses for their work.  I've written the script so that it only requires to voice actresses, as I can find plenty of male voice actors and do voice overs myself with my training.

I'm confident I can get a voice actress as long as there is pay involved but unfortunately, without money myself it's a little bit difficult doing that approach.  I only have a scant bit of funds saved up but that's for something else entirely.

I think I'm going to enjoy this one. I guess I need to ask that dreaded question: Do you have an ETA?

The dreaded ETA question!  Well considering I've been working on this animation for a good 6 to 7 years and I've had to restart from scratch at least 3 times.

I can't say that I can give an ETA at this present time.

HOWEVER!

I can say what is going to be released within the next couple of months.

The full length trailer will include the release date for the animation.  So once you see the trailer (Hopefully with the voice actresses VO) the release date for the full movie will be revealed.  I will DEFINITELY be taking a vacation after this baby is done.

The first FMG transformation sequence of my animation "Final Judgment" is now 99% complete!  I have to finish putting a little bit of polish add some final scenes and also tweak the timing of the animation to get it "juuuust" right.

I do want to experiment with some sound effects I have downloaded and may consider toying with the animation in Premiere Pro or After Effects to see what the file size will be with sound effects included and the lowered resolution.

WOOHOO!! That was GREAT! ;D

Very nice sequence. I like the setup, the scenario of how it all happen. That's very very good. Her reaction to her growth is pretty interesting too.

And the sound effects are A+. Great job Collector.

Now my understanding is that the clip is a low rez version. Is it still pretty much a preview, or is this the entire growth sequence? If it is, are we to expect further growth for her?

Glad you enjoyed it!  I put a lot of hard work into that little clip and thanks to Eegore I was able to get some really nice sound effects.

The low rez version is the entire growth animation completed to its fullest BUT!

There's more than one FMG sequence, meaning that there is still at least 4 more FMG transformations to go.  However, because the main draw of my animation is the FMG itself I will not be posting any further preview clips until I have at least enough footage for a teaser.

As mentioned earlier in the thread, these little animation clips are all a part of a MUCH MUCH bigger movie that I hope to release for everyone to see.

Also as an additional note.

If anyone has any tips on exporting my animation while retaining a huge amount of quality please let me know.

I am currently and ONLY using the following programs to create the animation:

Photoshop CS3
Premiere Pro CS3
After Effects CS3

I create all of the frames in the animation window in Photoshop and then export it as DV and bring it into Premiere.  I can't turn it into a GIF from Photoshop because it says I don't have enough memory.  Also, the GIF would probably be like 20mb in size.

I currently export the animation with the download to source preset, which makes the resolution 640 by 480 or around that area in WMV format.

Unfortunately, the animation doesn't look as crisp and clear as it does in Photoshop.  So if anyone has any suggestions as to how I can export it while also making the file size manageable to e-mail or upload to the web, please let me know.

Also I am looking for hosts to distribute the animation as my yahoo group is proving to be insufficient to satisfy the needs of the animation.  It is after all a "growing" project...  Bwa ha ha ha ha!

Looking at the sequence again, I think it’s a very good and a very strong beginning. There are definitely some things which could be added to it however. Even though I’m curious to see what else you have in mind for this series, I’d like to know if you considered the possibility of expanding on this one sequence further. For example, we don’t really see any lower body growth, or any close ups on her arms or abs. While I respect your creative choices, I’ve seen many good sequences that could have been awesome if they had been fleshed out further.

As a side note, I’d like to thank you for that segment between 1:17 and 1:21. Seeing her growing shadow and then her breasts filling out the entire mirror...  :) that was very nicely done. The BE fan in me went a little crazy right there. :-[

Anyway, keep it up man. I'm going to watch it again. For some reason, I can't stop doing so!

Great job finally putting this together TC2!  I liked the whole setting of her rolling out of bed and awakening to the imminent change.  The shot of her in front of her dresser mirror was also hugely effective.  The alarm clock getting crushed at the beginning was an amusing touch.

My only complaint was it could have been longer and more detailed.   It would have been nice to see her shirt ripping from even more angles!  ;)

Do you honestly believe that this small 1:30 animation was all that I had up my sleeve?  Heh heh, okay I'm going to elaborate on a few things first so that you guys can be in the loop.

Okay so here are some very important points that need to be clear:

1.) The animation is hand drawn, frame by frame.  I forget what the least frame count was but I believe it was around 367 frames or so.  That means I have drawn 367 times, whether I tweaked a frame, re-colored, or re-drew.  All of that animation is done by hand with the help of some distortion tools.  So it will still take me a long time to reach the goal I've set for myself and no I will not be using flash or any other programs.

2.) The animation you just saw was only skimming the surface of what I have in store for everyone.  There was INTENTIONALLY no lower body growth or bicep close ups, because I was saving those for an even MORE detailed FMG transformation.  In fact, if you pay close attention you notice I didn't even reveal the entire body, you never saw her from head to toe fully muscled up.  The intention was to leave you guys wanting more and I believe from the comments I have managed to pull that off.

3.) Though it was intentionally left out to whet the appetite, lower body growth is not a very popular focus in FMG animations.  I know this because of focus testing I have done releasing small animations that just involved legs bursting out of jeans and what have you.  They were the least popular when it came to comments and downloads.  Currently the favorites are: Biceps, Breasts, Back, and Feet.  However, because I like covering all aspects of the body; when the opportunity presents itself I will include full-body growth.  Oh and I also chose to have the LEAST amount of clothes for the first animation, so that when it came time to rip sleeves, burst shoes, shred jeans, and pop blouses.  The FMG effect can REALLY kick in.  The whole idea of the animation is to build, build, and build into a wonderful climax and you've only seen the introduction.

4.) This animation is the introduction to the FULL LENGTH animation, meaning that if you thought this animation was short.  You are right, it is intentionally so because the WHOLE ENTIRE ANIMATION.  Will be AT LEAST 10 minutes or so, which is an eternity in animation world at least for me.  It's going to be the classic clash of good and evil and will contain AT LEAST a minimum of 6 FMG transformations all in the same animation.  There's no series, this is going to be full on movie production status.

5.) Future FMG animations will have more clothes, so expect to see biceps bursting from sleeves.  Blouses popping open, jean buttons popping off at the waist, underwear tearing to shreds, muscles bulging, nipples protruding, backs splitting shirts open like earthquakes.  Oh yeah... you ain't seen nothing yet.



Whoo!  Good feedback guys, I already knew you guys would ask me that; so I already had the answers prepared.  It's going to be a while before I post the next one, but I will keep updating everyone on the status of the project.

Your best bet is to encode the film using the h.264 codec, or a derivative thereof.  Though I know you guys don't like speak of piracy on these boards, the h.264 codec is used by film pirates because it is the best codec for video quality while maintaining a small filesize.

Seriously, I can't even imagine the time and the efforts needed to build a sequence like this. Obviously if you didn't enjoy it yourself you wouldn't be doing it in the first place, but I want to thank you again for your hard work.

Now those answers are probably the worst teaser I've seen/heard in a long time. You're a bad man TC2!

Pidey, can you tell me a bit more about the h.264 codec?  Will it be able to run on everyone's computer.  My system does have the option to encode it that way, but I haven't messed with it.  If my file size is 10mb will the codec make it bigger or smaller?

Also I wanted to let you guys know, that I may have someone to do ONE of the character's voices.  Which would be the main character, I'm not going to ask her to start recording until the animation is complete.  But I'm still going to need a voice actress to portray the main antagonist for the animation.  So if anyone comes to mind that wouldn't mind playing the role of an unstoppable demi-goddess please let me know.

Very AWESOME. You've come a long way. The wait was well worth it!  ;D Did you find the process of doing it on AE and Photoshop simple or tough?

It's actually quite simple.  With the animation I haven't even tapped into the things I can do with AE just yet.  First was figuring out what format to export it in and then seeing if that format will look best at the lowest file size.  What I need to do with After Effects that is animation related hasn't come up just yet, or if it hasn't I haven't fully explored it yet.

For instance AE, will be used for screen shaking, motion blur, depth of field, zooming in and out, and a whole bunch of other cool goodies.

As for the process itself, animating is 1000 times easier using photoshop.  With the power of the warp tool and the animation window it makes it very easy for me to create new frames, with very little extra effort.  Also with the perspective and distort tools it makes it easier for me to spin a character around without having to redraw the body entirely, while also allowing me to save the color palette for re use.

I've also been reading up animation tutorials online to improve the actual transformation itself.  Needless to say, what was shown just recently is nothing compared to what's going to be coming down the pipe.

Ma, you're busting your balls on this one. I admire anyone who can do so much work and not burn out. What I've seen so far is impressive. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest when it's finished.

Well to be honest, I did get burned out earlier a few years back.  Though it was for a different reason than the usual burn out.

I was getting burned out from doing the animation first of all, in mspaint and second of all through a crashing computer.  I had made over 200 frames worth of animation through MSpaint, but none of them went together.  They were just random things that alone wouldn't make much sense as a story.

Eventually after being reminded that I had to draw and re-draw those frames with a mouse and not have any layers to help make my life easier, progress on the animation became almost non existent.

So it wouldn't be true for me to say that I wasn't burned out, but I will say that once I got a brand new computer and advanced software that made animating easier.  That's how I was once again able to put in some more effort into the project.

I have some very lofty goals for this animation, so hopefully everyone will enjoy the amount of effort I'm putting into it.  Not being trained in animation or art makes it really tough for me to get the perspective and movements right, but I'll keep trying to get it right.

Wow dude thats a lot of work and an impressive outcome! I loved the mirror effect near the end, I thought that was a neat idea. What did u use for music? It got fairly epic and made a nice addition to the background.

You should treat yourself to a drawing tablet. Should make the process much  easier.

I actually do have a drawing tablet, hence why I've actually managed to complete this animation!  It has made the process significantly easier, but it still takes time to do.

Then you should treat yourself to something else.. um.. perhaps buying some muscle growth serum and sneak in a few women's drinks or something at the bar?  ;D
