All you can say is "it was nice while it lasted".  :-\  But that business is so flaky so I don't know. Look how fast they geek a male actor up just a few months before they need him for some super hero movie. Then next thing you know, he has to lose it all for the next role.

But at least she said she enjoyed the look?

And I can't see why not. She's always been athletic, she must have done a lot of sports, there's no reason for her not to appreciate an athletic figure. Besides, why would she lie?

Well, she eulogised about how great it was to be buff, and wanting to set a great example, but then lost a huge amount of muscle.  It seems that she regained a little for her newest film, but I saw photos of her last year looking very stringy and typically Hollywood-thin, which suggested to me that she wasn't as enamoured with being buff as she said she was.  And as to lying - it's Hollywood - LaLa Land - people will say any amount of bull to position themselves.

Well say she needed to do a role, and they need her to slim down. Are you saying she should constantly gain size, just to drop it, EVERY time she gets a role?

"Leftywood" probably implies the liberal bias that most Republicans assume is rampant in Hollywood.

The funny thing, is I think it may be true.  I have noticed a lot more Republicans here in these threads than Democrats. Just my opinion, but I think there are more of them.

I however am a Democrat.

Both major parties seem to go for mass voter appeal, which generally means no muscle mass on women.  Not that femuscle is a really big political talking point.

In response to Sir BK - no, that's not what I mean - my point was that someone who likes being buff would indeed tone-down the buffness.  Jessica, on the other hand, seems to have spent much of 2007 and early 2008 looking "skinny-fat", before rebuilding a tiny percentage of her former buffnmess for that latest film where she plays a pole-dancer.  My argument is that this latest phsique would have been the preferred "producer-acceptable" one for a girl who genuinely likes being buff, rather than being a deviation from typical "skinny-fat" for one film.

look back on topic, i still think that Biel actually liked being buff, but the problem again is the roles she plays and unless this was for her own and was not in the film industry, then i have no doubt that she would continue

I agree. In an industry where one minute, you need to lose a lot of weight for a part, to gaining muscle, to getting heavier, actors have very little say, most times, in what their body shape will be. If she says she'd like to be more muscular, then I'd like to believe her. Even if she's lying through her teeth, I'm fairly certain one or two girls, at least, saw or heard about her and picked up some weights! Most women wouldn't have said it in public!!!

Because she was an obvious attempt to garner support simply because she was a woman and not because of any political power she might wield, or capability as the vice president because they were trying to capitalize on Hillary Clintons supporters who were burned by her not getting the nomination.

Oh I mean "because lol strong women".
