I would think that Gina Davis would be ideal for a show like that! If they follow through with that they said they’re going to do, then the bigger the better I believe! Apparently, this next episode would center on the FBB herself, and what discrimination she faces AS a FBB’er. This is what they announced at first:
“Depending on the success of this re-launch, we'll shoot an entire episode around this 'leap', featuring your character as the lead role in a possible future production. If we shoot the next episode, the show will tackle the issues of a woman's acceptance as a legitimate bodybuilder. While we (the Producers) are no experts in the professional bodybuilding arena, we are seeking a uniquely beautiful woman who is big and muscular.”
This was as if Heaven had finally opened up, and blessed every woman with muscle… well okay, maybe I’m being a little dramatic there, but I was THRILLED to see a production company (big or small) be brave enough to tackle an issue like that. Granted, its not a ‘front burner’ issue, but in terms of women’s rights, I champion that, and would LOVE to see ANY show take on society’s hang ups with muscle on a woman. I haven’t heard back from them about the story (yes, I begged them to let me read the script), but I am really hoping they go for it.
*Sighs* Ahh, a girl can dream…
Peace and Love,
~Mimi

As in ‘Mad hatter’? Or did you mean to type, “HATER”? In either case, if you are going to insult me sweetheart, do it in an intelligent, cogitative manner. You are insulting an English Major here, so carry it out correctly.
Sparring with you every four months over buried subjects doesn’t make a lot of sense but if that is the case, then so be it. But don’t presume what I have to “wait” for. And while we’re at it, don’t ask to see what I look like. The thought of you seeing me sends shivers of fright and terror through my spine…
Plus, I’m tired of bantering with the likes of you. Try sharing your so-called “stories” over at UnReal… they would get a real hoot out of you there.
So leave it be, and go back into your basement, you bad boy. You’re officially in ‘time out’.

Now that I reread my post, it does sound weird and disjointed. I really need someone to remind me not to post after spending 14 hours at work doing a server rebuild and data recovery. My apologies. Honey,
Never apologize for who you are, and/or what you think. I thought that was a sweet explanation as to what you cherish about women. Its just that in today's hyper-paranoid-silly society, everyone immediately assumes that someone is a basement dwelling stalker with no life if they notice something different in a woman, or prefer something off of the menu...
It is a shame that some people just can't accept the fact that not everyone thinks "inside" the box rather than outside. Some gals like guys, and some like girls... some like curves, and some like thick juicy muscle. I happen to enjoy both, and applaud those who are unique and different.
I'm ranting now. Oops.
XOXO's~Mimi

Alex ~ You saw that, did you? Ughhhh... I never get that mad on forums, but for some reason, that guy's lunacy just set me off. I did go all 'She-Hulk' on him, and gave him a thrashing he rightfully deserved. I guess a lot of it was because I feel that this is a great chance to "mainstream" FFB'ers, something I've been championing for a while... A lot of it is just because I'm tired of seeing a woman with muscle portrayed as a freak , or as a bumbling baboon in most mainstream commercials or TV shows. I was totally stoked when I saw their casting notice, especially when they planned to build an entire episode around a FBB and the trials and issues of being a FBB'er in society. I thought that was a FANTASTIC premise.
And I am soooooooo thrilled that my Buff Doll Mel is in it too! I can't wait to see it!!
But as for those idiots on UnReal, I tell ya... the tone and behavior of that board is... well, sickening to say the least. I think I'll probably leave, or just post to my chicas threads.
Peace and Love,~Mimi
