I left this message on the youtube video saying that Cindy was 3 times bigger now than in 2006 when this video was taken. JdsTheBest replayed back to it with this message:  Nice - but she's about 5'1" tall which tends to make things look bigger than they are". I sent her message back asking what she meant by this.  She only 5 4.  I am thinking she jealous of Cindy (who would not be).  What do you all think?

GMHH. It was ME that posted that comment on your pirated Cindy video. NOT Johanna. My youtube ID is JdsTheBest.
If you read my JdsTheBest page it states quite clearly that I'm a fan. I am NOT Johanna.

I know Johanna has the greatest respect for all her fellow competitors and certainly wouldn't post any negative comments about them. My comment was in reply to some other guy's comment saying "Cindy's she's the biggest FBB evah!"  I said the clip was nice but pointed out that Cindy is quite short therefore not the biggest FBB ever.

Please stop trying to cause trouble.

I'D APPRECIATE IT IF THE MOD WOULD DELETE THIS AND THE OTHER LOCKED THREAD.

Thanks

Maybe they haven't thought things through.  Maybe they have.  Let's hope they have.

I find the prosect that they thought carefully about it and still got it done even less appealing. According to the American Society of Dermatological Surgery in 2002, 50% of the people who get a Tattoo eventually want it removed.

Call me close-minded and paternalistic but I tend to get like that when I see someone I care about doing something they're likely to regret - like smoking or damaging their health and appearance with roids. I think the "I respect your decision" line is a big cop out.

Still, at least someone's getting rich out of it:

Nearly 40 million Americans sport tattoos and almost half end up regretting it. As a result, laser procedures for tattoo removal is becoming one of the fastest growing areas of the dermatology industry. Approximately 20 percent of laser procedures performed over the past two years were for tattoo removal

One piece of good news - there's a new type of tattoo ink which is supposed to be easier to remove - so hopefully scaring won't be such a problem in the future.

Very true. Unfortunately most FBB fans will never get to touch an FBB, so to us the visual aspect is more important. No doubt alot of girls like the look of tattoos and they would rightly dismiss the opinions of someone like myself who happens to dislike them. However what they fail to appreciate is this:

Fashions change and people change but tattoos don't change.

Therefore it seems very unwise to get a permanent fashion statement etched into your skin. Ask any young women if she'd be happy wearing the clothes she wore 5 years ago, or having the hairstyle she had back then -  and the answer will be a resounding NO. But that tatt will look exactly the same in 5,10,20 years, and it can't be removed without leaving a nasty scar.

It is this permanence and the implied lack of forethought of the wearer which I find unappealing as much as the look of the things.

It reads like a bunch of snobs who've got their panties in a twist and can't wait to let the world know how petty and small-minded they are.

Yes - it's called the internet Grin

Look - we all love FBBs, and no-one's saying they don't have the right to 'express themselves' by getting a tatt done. I'm just saying that's an ugly tatt on an otherwise beautiful woman.

Re being insensitive: I'm guessing there aren't any FBBs reading this - afterall it's along side an advert for big boobs comics or something. But if someone does read this and it causes them to think twice about getting a tatt - then great!

Things to remember:

- They look tacky and sleazy.
- They are permanent.
- Removal causes scarring.
- How they gonna look when you're 50?

Unfortunately ugly tatts seem to go along with the non-conformist attitude of FBBs - just like hairy-arse bikers and navies. But for FBBs it's a crime to deface such natural beauty with rubbish graffiti. Yeah - they can be removed - but the scarring looks awful, and when I see a tatt removal scar I just think "eww - so you had the poor taste, bad judgement and stupidity to get a tattoo then have it removed".

Gee - that's a shame. She had a lovely wholesome innocent look before the tatt. But now.... how are we supposed to enjoy looking at her arm with that thing on there. That's another one crossed off my list. Too bad.

I agree with everything you say about how to run a good personal site Xander.

One reason I think alot of personal sites fail is that fans only join maybe once a year to download all the clips. There's no incentive to stay a member because most sites only add a couple of new clips to the archive each month. So the longer you wait between sign-ups, the more you get for your money.

I think the permanent archive system works well for big sites like HB and MA because they have a wide appeal and a large pool of potential members. But personal sites have a much smaller pool of potential members so they need to retain them from month to month.

I think Johanna D has the right idea in the way she packages her updates into a time-limited issue with the tag line "Get it before it's gone". The downside is she has to put alot of work into each issue to keep her members satisfied.

I agree it's a very crude estimate. But it's consistent with what I hear about personal site memberships - and the fact that alot of sites are abandoned Sad
