It's unnamable because the forum treats the name as a banned word and censors it.

Excellent, now just have to see if they respond to e-mail over there... Smiley

I agree with collector on one part of what he said. Because i think everyone of us has right to like whatever they want. However it hurts
to see how some women make this sport look bad... because EVERY SINGLE time mainstream media use a female bodybuilder image/actress
they pick the ones that look most like men (well not always but mostly)... Bodybuilding is about hard work and dedication and not about
getting obscene amounts of muscles in short period of time making a face look like not even a man. European bodybuilders are the best example
of doing the hard work the "longer" way, patiently sculpting their bodies - thats bodybuilding for me.
When i was at arnold's Classic Europeans were: Cuter and more defined, better conditioned, and had better quality muscle, and proportion.
Yet they werent judged too good... beyond me. Seems like the idea of Bodybuilding has been lost somewhere in that "musclerace".

So what really hurts me personally in fbb as a sport, is that really good looking women (in bodybuilding terms) - conditioning, size, proportion, definition.
dont place high...

Judging in NPC is simply bogus... they promote competitors based on how popular they are and, how many times they shown their face on the shows.
Not based on what they look... thats how it really works. Its fun for them, i was a witness to a conversation of one figure girl that got instructions
from a judge to tone down her shoulders a little and come harder next year. Next year she did and didnt place high and the judge sad something totally different.
*CoughBullshit.

This is sport is full of  DOUBLE STANDARDS , when judging Female Bodybuilders.

Does anyone ever critique genetically male bodybuilders as being attractive or not. . Personally, I think not.
Most male bodybuilders are judged by their muscularity , not their attractiveness .

Yes i agree, however im not a judge Smiley I'm a person that likes FEMALE bodybuilders. And we here are not
judges either. I understand that some people find that attractive thats perfectly fine. Just don't expect
from everyone to see it that way. I personally like them big but with "mainstream way" cute/hot faces...

So in this particular discussion i think we should set apart 2 things: our personal likings and way of
judging. Because as much as I may like some bodybuilders, they dont have what it takes to place high.

My 5 cents

Haha, I wrote that I needn't ask who won before I clicked the link because it was so obvious that Iris would win - the idiots at IFBB can't stop themselves from wrecking the pursuit of Pro FBBing by voting for her each year.  I have nothing against Iris as looking as she does has netted her 6 titles, but, if the IFBB really wanted to arrest the downward slide they'd reward a less extreme appearance.  It's evident that they have given-up on FBBing in favour of Figure which has great physiques but isabout as exciting as watching paint dry.

The prize money now (4K US$ for fourth place, apparently) is so low now that the term "Professional" is now a joke as the women have to do something else to make ends meet.  Either the IFBB should remove all pretence of there being a Pro division, or (preferably) they need to change the judging criteria and reward less extreme looks to bring back sponsorship and media coverage.  Perhaps then the prize money can actually be worth the bother and it might reduce the seedy side of FBBing which does the sport no credit.  End of rant.

Now thats what i dont get... Tell me why would they favor less extreme appearance??? It's bodybiulding, not a bikini show (what NPC tries to do)
Bodybuilding is all about muscles. You fan of softer girls nothing wrong with that, be a fan of figure then. I myself dont like the fact that women
to get big need to use juice and they most of the time wreck their facial beauty... But that doesnt change the fact that Iris IS the best in terms of proportion,
conditioning and size (bodybuilding criteria), so i dont see why she shouldn't win.

I may like other girls better because they look nicer, have smoother faces, but thats not the point of bodybuilding... I agree to what you say about sponsorship,
yet i prefer seeing less women but in better shape... quality over quantity... As for money they seem ot be doing fine , most of girls work as personal trainers, which
is a good pay, + photoshoots they get. I never heard them complain, Except judging maybe.... Most of girls I have spoken to ddo it for themselves, not for money. To strengthen their personality
and prove to themselves they can achieve something most people cant or dont want to.

My 2 cents

Funny guy, everyone's a comedian.  Maybe I'll just start an imageshack photo album or something.

o.O not a comedy... just a thought on how to solve hosting problem once and for all with silly little costs or none...

oh well...

I have so many screenshots, I'm kind of annoyed of having to upload them all up to imageshack.  Is there any other place aside's from photobucket where I can keep an album?  Man must just be laziness on my part, there's just so many pictures though.

All you need is an old computer, and constantly on internet connection...
Install windows 2003 netserver and you got your own hosting...
Use www.whatismyip.com to determine your outer IP address and use it
instead of a domain (http://196.196.196.196/something.jpg for example)
Once you configure windows netserver, everything you put in the inetpub
folder will be reachable under your IP address... Smiley

Joining a Super Group also gives an additional outfit slot.

Theese are screens of my Super Group outfit. And our emblem (Falcon in black and red).
I picked this emblem because it makes me think of amazon winged helmets.

I encourage you all to make an outfit with the emblem (in black and red)
in that extra slot, that way we will be recognizeable as a group. Wink
