1  Fiction / Growth Stories / Re: ericka the beast - part i (new story) on: Jun 10, 2009, 05:09 PM
I wanted to congratulate you on the overwhelming awesomeness of your story!  He's the comment I posted on Brawna:

First off, as a piece of first-time fiction your writing is extremely clear and descriptive. You seem to be a natural writer. The story itself is so packed with the stuff I love it's almost crazy. I've never been a fan of magical muscle growth, so I was thrilled to see how hard Erika struggles to forge her dream physique. I particularly like how far you push things - clothes bursting, popping veins, tit-less pecs - this is female muscle pushed to the max! Can't wait to read more!

Thanks for the alternate points of view.  Writers often explore a recurring theme in their work.  I think my specific fascination is with women of indominable will who possess a limitless hunger for muscularity, and the extreme sacrifices they're willing to endure to achieve their "vision".  Everything in the stories is just a way of exploring that central theme.  Tanya and her friends litterally overdosing on steroids was a new way of exploring just how obsessed these girls are with their muscles.  I don't plan on making steroid abuse a regular thing, but with Tanya, it seemed fitting.

Constructive criticism is always appreciated, fellas.  Thanks for the feedback  Wink.  So far, reactions to the story have been very polarized.  If people feel things went too far this time, I'll certainly dial it back a bit in the next story.  Any other thoughts out there?

Today's a great day!  Having FemXman updating again is a major victory for lovers of great artwork everywhere!  I hope 2008 is the year Fem finds a balance between exploring this particular interest and pursuing the world of legitamate commercial artwork.  And as for the money thing - someone who puts as much effort into his art as FemXman does deserves to make whatever money they can.  No one's gonna get rich on a niche like ours, but every little bit helps.  Great to have you back, man!!
