Well you had a Dark Tower fan-story vibe going on that got plugged into some of your earlier unconnected original tales like "Amazon Cruise". The omniversal threat of the Crimson King, and a potential Walking Man alternate with the Man In Black came to the fore in this most recent retooling as well.

In regards to the erotic content there's some interesting innovation that hasn't happened before in your tales. The girl protagonist in your recent "MAgic I-Phone" addition actually finding a coherent advantage with her transhuman sexuality for example. 

Pai Pai is a complete innocent that might not even be entirely sentient. A thing of dreams brought into the waking world by processes unknown to common man.

Kanno is making the right decisions for the wrong reasons. Could Kanno ever hope to grow and live his life forever chained to a 50 foot maido? Pai Pai wouldn't be able to survive in a world where solid dreams seem to be regulated by enforcement shamans.

But Kanno being a hurtful jerk to something made from his own wishes and needs is excessive. Pai Pai seems to be a motherly spirit crammed into a fetish maid shell. She'll see nothing but the best in her miscreant of a creator.

Perhaps in some gaiden side story alternate she might find new hosts to keep her anchored in the waking world. One could imagine such a gentle creature as Pai Pai being a tireless caretaker to the forgotten elderly or the orphaned. Words and language can be understood but her slow and careful actions speak volumes.
