I was dissapointed in this issue as well....

Reading issues #9 to #11, I was pleasantly surprised by the amount muscle that She-Hulk was getting.  Those were some of the best looking She-Hulk renditions, period.  This is the way She-Hulk should be.  Tall, big round defined shoulders, big arms, cute smile.
She was getting pretty buff and muscular.

Unfortunately, She-Hulk was rarely in issue #12, and even when they had her, her muscle was considerably toned down...a real shame.

I have a feeling she will be continue to be toned down with the following comic book series that Marvel is promising.

Well.. it was good while it lasted.

What I would like to see is Jeniffer Walters continue to work out, very serious, as she is bummed out about  at what has happened of late.  She decides to work out with a vengeance...So when she transformes into She-Hulk, well, her size and strength will be affected, even more so than in issues #9-11.

Imagine the potential of how She-Hulk would look like.

That would be tremendous.

Anybody else agree?

fbbfan, I'd be amazed if anyone disagrees with you.

If any enterprising writer or artist wants to take that scenario on, please go ahead! It'll be months til we see what Slott will do ...

Wow!  Fantastic cover there - I'll have to go out and buy one... (or two?)
Damn, that's fine!

She-Hulk Vol.2, "Superhuman Law," should be out today in book and comic stores. This contains issues #7-12, which feature the awesome arc that was widely discussed here and elsewhere.

To summarize: She-Hulk is transported to an alien planet to adjudicate some of their cases. The planet is currently run by Champion of the Universe, a crappy Marvel villain who has come into posession of the Infinity Gem of Power, rendering him invincible. She-Hulk takes him on anyway, and loses - but then she remembers that as She-Hulk, she's exponentially stronger than she is as Jen Walters.

So she asks for a rematch in three months. Over that time, she goes on an intensive workout regimen as Jen Walters, going from unathletic to fairly buff. Now when she transforms into She-Hulk, she's twice as muscular and many times stronger.

She-Hulk returns to earth, and has trouble dealing with her new size (stomping through the office she causes a mini-earthquake, for example), and the rest of the story I'll leave unspoiled.

Oh, the best part of this - in issue #9, Paul Pelletier becomes artist and takes a less cartoony approach to the subject. His She-Hulk looks incredible. Here she is pre-bulk up.

Here she is post-bulk up.

Pelletier's art is stunning, and when he gets to draw Titania - well, watch the hell out.

If you've missed these issues, buy this book.

Thanks for the heads up Dave, I haven't had a chance to go book shopping in a while so the update on Shulks's collection status is a big help
