What's with the gold trim on Supergirl's cape?  Isn't that Mary Marvel's cape?

Supergirl, like Powergirl has always been a favorite, whether drawn buy Al Plastino, Win Mortermer, Neal Adams, Kurt Shaffenburger, Curt Swan etc...  I'll have to give it a couple of issues but, this whole issue deals with Kara finding who she can trust and can't, unlike Krypto, who as Batman put it "Doesn't like anyone!"  But the big question is and it's over in JSA Classified 1 - 4, who is Powergirl and how much does she know OR remember about the "Crisis on the Infinite Earths" and what is her relationship to the upcoming "Infinite Crisis."

Alright - whose bright idea was it to cast Calista Flockhart as the model for Supergirl?  David E Kelley?  I'm looking in your direction...

If you want a bustier, more muscular supergirl go to your local comic book store and start collecting the SupergirlArchives.  I'll admit this version of Kara Zorel is not what a person expects a Supergirl to look like, but not everyone can appreciate the work that some one like Al Plastino did in May of "59 in Action #252.  Hell, even as a teenager she was stronger looking then. :-D
I guess what I'm trying to say is this is what many of the non-comic readers want to see, a slim, trim and strong supergirl
