Well, the latest issue of Ultimate X-Men came out today and there was another golden opportunity to draw a muscular Rogue thrown away by an artist.  Rogue came in contact with the Juggernaut several times and while she gained his strength and invulnerability, she did not gain his size and musculature.   :x

Needless to say, I put the book back on the shelf where it belonged.   :-P

And as you should - or as the old saying has it: only by voting with our wallets will the message get through.

Interestingly enough, Marvel doesn't seem to have that problem with other men receiving the physique of the Juggernaut (tsk tsk - and I thought sexism was frowned upon by them).  I recall one time that his old partner in crime Black Tom also gained it for a while and then there's the What If storyline of Professor X and not Cain Marko becoming the Juggernaut.

Now, now.  In fairness, Marvel has to keep consistant.  I mean, it's not as though Juggernaut's powers make HIM grow bigger and more muscular...
oh, wait...

OK, I am outraged.

I'm almost positive each time another person has gained the size of Juggernaut as well as the power is because they had the ruby of cytorrak. The ruby itself gives you the size. His POWERS don't include that size(just his strength and invulnerability). Much like Captain/Ms.Marvel. She was superstrong, but she did not have a superbuff physique.

On top of that you're all being incredibly whiny.

He has a point, people: Just because a comic doesn't include FMG in an appropriate situation, it doesn't mean the writer is intentionally thumbing his nose at us.

I'm just pointing things out is all.  The only time in a regular Marvel comic that Rogue has gained the size and strength of the Juggernaut was in Marvel Team-Up #150 (volume 1).  The Ruby Gem of Cytorrek does in fact convey size, strength, invulnerability, etc to the user.  In said issue, Rogue did not touch the gem although Juggy & Black Tom did.
