I added this board because I had a question I wanted to ask but nowhere to ask it.  It occurred to me that Amaz0ns could use a general writing board.

Here's my question - what categories of stories should I offer in the Story Archive?  I'm ready to get it off the ground and I want to make sure it's done right.  Right now the 3 categories are:
  • Female Muscle Growth
  • Giantess Growth
  • Breast Enlargement

What else do we need?

How about just regular Muscle stories, about women who have muscle and strength before the story even starts, and Strength stories, where the women are strong/superstrong without having muscle, and finally Strength growth stories, stories that have women gaining strength/superstrength without gaining any muscle.

Thanks for making this board! :-D

As for the question, I agree with iceman75 - we'll need a Muscular Women section. Also, as someone vaguely interested in Statistics, "Other" is always a good thing to have.

A general writing board - a most excellent addition, Mighty Lingster. (Praise him with mighty praise!)

Seriously, tho - I know its a sub-genre interest of the genre, but what about Growing Male and Female Couples stories?

These are all good, but please keep in mind that since I can only assign a story to one category, the categories have to be clear.

Maybe I should tell you about the way the content management system works?  Each story has to be assigned to a category.  It can also be assigned to a sub-category.  In addition, there are other "properties" that can be assigned to each story, including characters, language, genre, warning(s) and ratings.

What I chose to do at the outset, but we're not so far along that I can't do it over, was to assign story types to category.  So "Female Muscle Growth" is a category, and the genres I picked are Encounters, Fanfic, Fantasy, Realistic and Science Fiction.  We can attach multiple genres to a story.

I'm wondering now if I didn't get it backwards.  Maybe FMG should be a genre, and "Science Fiction" should be a category?  Or maybe "Transformations" should be a category and then the genres should things like FMG, MMG, Science Fiction, etc. I'll need to look into how this is used at other sites, but if any readers have experience in information architecture or library science, I'd appreciate any advice you could offer.
