From her latest blog entry (there is much more in it, but this is what cought my attention):

http://brittmiller.blogspot.com/

...

For the last 2 years I have been struggling to let bodybuilding go; feeling scared and afraid of being lost without my sense of achievement.  I am so happy to say that I have finally come to ends with those thoughts.  I can not say that I will "never" compete again but I can say that I am the happiest I have ever been just living life day to day, knowing that I have made a positive difference in women's bodybuilding and others lives.

Thank you so much for listening!

I love you all and hope you will continue to follow my life as I will always portray and promote a healthy physical lifestyle.

All my love,
B

The best thing we can do is be supportive and understanding to them. It is a shame we may never see them on stage again. But their happiness should come first.

There is time for everything. And I guess it's time for something else for Britt. All the best for her in the future.

Similar to what I said about Cindy, the competitive side of bodybuilding is no longer a fun thing for Britt, either.

Based on what she's posted it doesn't sound as if she'll completely divest herself of a physical culturalist lifestyle - but now she’ll pursue it only for personal enjoyment and the satisfaction of maintaining a strong and healthy figure.

Continuing through her posting, it seems that competitive bodybuilding offered her a grounding and a structured focus that she needed - a protective buffer that she's now evolved beyond the need for at this point in her life.

So rather then end in total burn out, in my mind she's wisely pulling out before that occurs and deciding to have a life beyond that of competitive bodybuilding.

Lastly, in general, most laypeople only venerate the finished work of a polished super-superior physique, but don't appreciate (or perhaps comprehend) the hyper-tunnel vision required and the all-consuming (and selfish) nature that competitive bodybuilding can take on an indevidual - socially, mentally and physically over the course of time.

For my part, I only wish her the very best in whatever might be her next endeavors.

Wait wait wait, let me pull a GWHH here.

"Just because she's taking a break from bodybuilding doesn't mean that she won't come back BIGGER and STRONGER!  Then Cindy and Britt will get jealous of each other and try to get bigger than the other!"

Or Muffin man's

"Sounds like her boyfriend made her get out of bodybuilding just like Cindy."

Good for these women.

As I know -- and as Lingster has said -- bodybuilding is a toxic lifestyle.

It better to go out at the top of your game like britt and cindy are doing than to hang around and become a has been and lets be honest.  They are two of the best looking and best built FBB in the game.  And that what people will remeber years from now.
