granted, my girls are on the punier side compared to the rest of you folks but the reason I do it is:
I think for me it's one thing for a girl to be attractive and cute and all, but it's another if she actually DOES something. The best example of this I can think of in my experience is Trish Stratus. Now there were other divas in WWE who many would consider more traditionally attractive (keibler, wilson, etc.), but Trish might very well be the best female wrestler outside of Japan. With me it got to the point where I forgot she was attractive and just noticed her skill.
With ladies like Mary Lado, Christine Pomponio, the blonde girl in this month's flex who's name I can't recall, Jelena Abbou, etc, it's almost a recognition of what they've done to get their bodies to that point and maintain it. You can put on make up, you can go the low road and show off every hole you've got, but it's not the same level of reverence to me. Sydney Moon puts me in the lustful state. April Hunter puts me in awe.

I simply draw the muhsulls on women because I became very bored of seeing women looking either like complete Hoes or complete matchsticks. After a few years i started to develop a love for them.
Now, I love muscular women AND average looking cutesypies
AND
full-figured plump-ish women with a good set of curves.
It pays to have a very short attention span. Seriously.

I'm borrowing a page from AlexG, here, and talking about writing instead of drawing (mainly because my drawings make stick figures look like technical masterpieces...
)
The reasons I
write
about muscular women, though, are various. First and foremost is simply that I enjoy a story with a strong, competent, capable woman. There is a depressing shortage of such in mainstream literature, so I've felt compelled to create some of my own.
Another reason I write about muscular women is because they fascinate me-both as physically powerful people and as women (I've been fascinated with women pretty much since I realized there was a difference)-and the juxtaposition of what is traditionally considered to be the male role (the protector/provider/physically dominant person) with the traditional feminine roles (such as nurturer and caregiver). Muscular women give me the opportunity to play around with those stereotypes, to blend them back and forth, and to use and discard them in new and interesting ways.
Finally, I'm vain enough to hope that my writing will someday inspire someone else to write a story or draw a picture or (dream of dreams) pencil a comic that features a character of mine.

And yes, I am curvy and proud of it. But I probably could have used a

sign to hang off my ass.

SCREAMING WITH DELIGHT!!! WOW and WOW!
Absolutely Gorgeous!!!
Yes, you're curvy, and should be proud of it. Remember the Subway commercial where the woman asked for a "Badonka-donk butt"? Well, I was jumping up and down sayin' "Yes, yes! THAT'S what I'm talkin' about!! Mimi...I'm just glad that's not an animation, or I'd have to call the Life Squad. But, seriously, you're fabulous!
