SF2 had an animation when you nailed a middle punch on an opponent sometimes they looked to be vomiting.

Along with the little birdies and stars dancing around the head of a stunned opponent it helped make that game funny as heck.

Theory being Diagos brought that to the next level with fighting game females suddenly being endowed with the capacity to retch pixels.

He was also a contributing artist to the "Something Awful-Tan" mascot contest.  Cheesy

I couldn't find the contributions you referred to, but I did find the Awful Link of the Day post about his original website.

Well, I can't speak for Vollar-Tile, but I haven't had any use for SA ever since they designated "Tetsuko" an Awful Site of the Day.

They called Tetsuko HIDEOUS?!?!  They don't even KNOW beauty.  At least she's not a stick figure with M-sized breasts, which apparently these guys would rather have.
