We need a chat where you can't enter or watch if you're not registered to the forum.
We need a chat without an archive acessible by all.
We need a chat where the members don't get stalked.

Why? Because maybe some of you remember the issue I had over Docherty writing shit about me...
Well he tends to watch me in the chatroom- and I know it's him, because he's never in there when I am, and he's the one targetting me, amongst others.
He stalks the lingr chatrooms like the lonely internet obsessed nerd he is and picks out reasons not to like them, then decides to write out offensive ED articles about them. Why? I can only guess he's so pathetic he does it to make himself feel high and mighty. He posts to ED as 'Thunderball', and he's written an article on me and at least one other person who goes to the lingr chatrooms- so he's obviously pretty obsessed with stalking those rooms.
I can't chat in lingr anymore or at least I can never say anything I may really want to talk about.
That, and who knows who he will decide to dislike next?

Sorry but He-Boss, this fucking sucks.

Hmm... a number of good points. Perhaps there could be a private chat where access to the room is not just limited to anyone registered on this site (which wouldn't stop anyone out to deliberately cause trouble) but either individuals who are vetted by a moderator or otherwise well-known to the community or even people who have above 50 posts here or something? If Docherty or whoever this shit is has a problem with femuscle, I doubt he'd take the time to post 50 times here under an alias or something.

What about IP tracking? Is there some way of banning IPs from Lingr chatrooms? Just a thought.

It's a real shame because the chat is a fantastic feature of the board and I'm very grateful to Lingster for putting it on here. I just wish there was some way of preventing the kind of stalking and generally crappy behaviour that Syb has been talking about.

Any ideas anyone?

Docherty has been notified, and will stop. He says that he hasn't been on the Amaz0n chatroom since he went last, so who ever is anonymous must be someone else. But yes, he says he will stop the trolling, but he can't delete the ED articles, not because he is a prick, but because those who run ED keep them up. Pain in the arse, non?

Haha, funny how I don't believe a word that is said by that sack of shit. He shouldn't have done something like that in the first place, and it is not something he can undo now. He obviously has no decency as a human being.
