I used to include the She-Hulk message board - http://members2.boardhost.com/SheHulk/ - on my bookmarks, along with SheGrew and Transvigor. On April 1 they changed the layout to some fantasy comic, the "Fem Four," which I assumed was a joke. But days later they haven't changed the site back.

It seems like this is a factor of whininess among board members about the upcoming She-Hulk relaunch. If that's the case - how lame can that board get? I mean, has anyone else here frequented the site? They've got a hate on for Dan Slott and Juan Bobillo that's gotten damn annoying. It'd be a shame if that shitcans the entire site.

I believe that the "FemFour" backdrop is an April Fool's joke on the part of Eddie, the moderator of the forum - (now that the holiday is over he really should restore the enviroment back to what it was) - check out the fake upcoming issue comic book covers to see what I mean.  Not only don't they match up with what was released, but the date of release is out of wack.

As for the pro and anti-Dan Slott commentary, my own opinion is that he's done a far better job with the character then I ever expected - especially when one conciders the constraits that he's had to work under in balancing what the corporation orders done and what the hard-core fans are practically begging for.   You can't please everyone and if you try, you please no one.

Lastly, in my own view, the artistic talents of Juan Bobillo (as you said there is strong debate in the community as to that factor) would be far better employed in another title then the She-Hulk, if nothing else, then to prevent killing off a large percentage of the $$$ customer base who loaths his previous work.  It's a regressive ploy and a stupid one at that - but always trust the powers that be at Marvel to do just that to the fans.

When Paul Peletier was tapped as a replacement, in the majority of minds, the title finally found one person who could truly capture her majestic, even breathtaking femuscular essence in visual form.  And if not him, concidering his excellent work on Shanna the She-Devil, Frank Cho would have been another who I (and I suspect that many others) would have prefered to see take over the next volume of the title.
